As Johnny ran back home, hoping nobody was awake so nobody would notice how long he was actually gone for.

As Johnny got closer to home he kept thinking about what had happened with Will.

Was it cheating? No it couldn't have been because they broke up. Did they really break up or was he overreacting. Did he just screw up the best thing he ever had

As Johnny got to his front door step, he opened the door as quietly as he could. Trying not to alarm anybody. He walks into the living room to see the light on and Cruz sitting on his own just sitting up looking at Johnny

"What?" Johnny asked bluntly as he stood at the door, closing it

Cruz just looked at Johnny without a word

"John is this really how you want to leave things with me? After everything"

Johnny couldn't believe what he had heard
"Excuse me what the fuck did you say! You broke up with me you're the one leaving"

"I don't have a choice, its my family"
Cruz told him
"Listen, just because your family doesn't want you back, it doesn't mean that.."
Cruz paused as he realised what he had just said

Johnny was furious.
"What the fuck did you just say to me?" He asked suspiciously calm.
"Why would you say that" Johnny asks as he approached Cruz as their conversation continued.

"Johnny, I didn't mean.. wait a minute" Said Cruz before he paused

Cruz started to sniff and as he got closer to Johnny he sniffed even closer.

"What are you doing?" Johnny asked uncomfortably

"That smell.. it smells like"
Cruz fell silent as he came to a devastating realisation

"who was it John?" Cruz asked bluntly and quietly

"What? Who was what?" Johnny asked nervously

"You know what I'm talking about Johnny.. The smell, you're smell... that's what you smell like after sex" Cruz told him

"cRuZ tHaT's CrAzy" Johnny said unconvincingly

"Don't call me a liar.. we've slept together too many times I know that smell!"

Johnny looked at Cruz with no emotion

"you're changing the subject Cruz" Johnny claimed

"Johnny you cheated on me didn't you" Cruz asked

"No I didn't cheat! You broke up with me. You told me we wasn't worth fighting for anymore.. how was I supposed to feel"

"I don't even know what to say to you right now Johnny" Cruz told him.

"Likewise asshole. You know what Cruz. Go back to your family because if you can drop me like you have then I obviously didn't mean as much as I thought"

"Oh really Johnny, if you loved me like you said. You wouldn't have fucked someone HOURS after we supposedly broken up"

"Fuck this I'm not talking to you" Johnny exclaimed while walking towards the stairs

"Where are you going?" Cruz asked

"To MY Room, not ours anymore is it. I'll let you clear it out of your things in the morning." Johnny told him.

"Johnny I've already packed.."

"I thought you had another day"

"I guess it doesn't matter now" Cruz stated

"Yeah you're right. It doesn't matter now"

As Johnny walked upstairs feeling sick to his stomache with guilt and anger he wouldn't apologise for being with Will because it would hurt Cruz even more if he knew it was Will.

The next morning Johnny woke up to Cruz standing over him

"Huh? Cruz what are you doing I told you not to come in he.."

"just shut up Johnny I'm gonna make this as painless as I possibly can for you."

Johnny sat up in bed and was about to speak when Cruz continued.

"So it looks like we're done with eachother. I saw a look in your eye last night when I caught you out. You didnt even give a fuck that I knew you had fucked somebody else. It was like you did it to make me jealous. So I'm gonna say this and then I'm gonna kiss you.. Johnny I do love you, but i also love my family and I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner but I'm not sorry that I'm going. John I just wanted to say thanks though

We had a great time didn't we.. let's just try and remember that atleast. Yes we're over but Johnny, I'll see you soon" Cruz was balling his eyes out saying this to John. It was his first breakup but he really loved John.

As Cruz was about to leave the bedroom to leave properly, Johnny called him one last time, but Cruz didn't turn around. He just left

Johnny could hear Cruz go down the stairs and he heard him close the front door as he left. What was this that Johnny was feeling? Was it anger, jealousy or was it a heartbreak

Johnny couldn't leave it like this so he got his phone from his night stand and decided to text Cruz one last time.
