As everybody was still eating the conversation was purely civil and just small talk which everybody picked up on.
Maria then received a text: *your Client got an early flight will be there soon*
Maria told Johnny and Cruz and they just looked surprised because it was really short notice.
Once dinner had finished. Cruz went upstairs while Johnny and Maria stayed downstairs.
"So who's this new boy coming?" Johnny asked Maria
"You'll see very soon haha" she replied
"Aah come on I'm dying to find out" Johnny exclaimed. "Nooooo I'm not telling you yet he'll be here in a minute just chill" Maria told him
Cruz was upstairs on his PC casually scrolling through hit Reddit newsfeed which seemed to entertain him. As he was scrolling, his phone went off
Cruz went over to his phone which was plugged in, to see who was calling. It was Dylan, which made Cruz kinda smile. He looked at his door, closed it and sat back at his desk, to answer the call.
Dylan and Cruz called for about fourty five minutes, until Dylan turned it into a FaceTime. Which means Cruz had to prop his phone up towards him.
As they spoke on the FaceTime call, Dylan basically told Cruz how everybody was that Cruz knows in LA. Cruz speaking quietly, trying not to laugh loud or speak loud because his room was right above the living room. Where Johnny was.
Dylan was acting quite weird, it felt to Cruz. He could see Dylan was making him laugh by purpose. He was casually complementing every chance that he could. Cruz noticed some of it. Cruz was telling Dylan about the Netflix show.
*knock sound*
Cruz heard the door from upstairs and kinda ignored it because he knew that Johnny and Maria were downstairs. He forgot why anybody would be at the door as he was quite invested in the conversation with Dylan.
Maria opener the door
"Oh my godddd you're here.. I'm sorry it's just wow. You're so beautiful in person" Maria said, trying to hide her blush "Sorry I'm not usually this starstuck, I've even spoken to you on the phone.. but it's weird seeing you in person" Maria continued
The Boy stood in the doorway, with his suitcase and bags behind him. "Well I can say I'm not used to that introduction hahaha" he said with his cheeky grin and sparkly eyes. "Well come on in, make yourself at home.. literally haha" Maria said chuckling nervously.
As the boy made his way into the home with his luggage, he had a casual look around in the hallway before going into the living room.
Johnny was in the living room, listening to the door to see who it was. He couldn't really make out the voice but could still hear Maria's anxious tone.
Johnny watched as the door opened.. His jaw dropped and his pupils aligned together while he looked him down before finally making eye contact and realising who it was standing before him. It was Noah Schnapp!
