Team POV
"I- uhm..... it's...." I don't know what to say. I'm really fucked up
"Team" Doc. Ming said with seriousness and I just sighed and told them the truth
"One" I whispered without looking at them
"Hey, Doc. Ming it's just a day don't be so serious" Pharm said but the doctor just shook his head
"It's a week am I right Team?" He asked and I just nodded slowly
"WTF Team! You didn't sleep for 7 fucking straight days and you still swan for the try out? Are you out of your mind?" Pharm shouted in shock
"No shouting kids anyways why didn't you sleep for that long nong?" Doc. Kit asked and I don't know what to say. I just can't tell them that I can't freaking sleep because of nightmares that kept me awake for the whole night. What will they think of me? A kid?
"Severe insomia, I can't sleep without my sleeping pills. I ranout a week ago and I didn't have a chance to buy them." I said and I didn't lie completely since I definitely depend on pills for me to sleep
"You clearly know that you can't depend on pills Nong. It has side effects and your body might be over familiar in the future. In that case someday it wont effect on you anymore" he advised and I smile sadly while looking at my hands
"I know doc that's why I'm not taking them every couple of days" I said and the two doc just nodded and divert the topic to the food that they got. I know that they have a hunch on what might be the cause of my insomia since one of them saw what's under my sleeves but I'm thankful that they didn't dig more about it
"Come on guys lets eat. I'm hungry already" Doc. Kit whined then all of them walked towards the food except P'Win and P'Dean
"How are you feeling kid?" P'Dean asked
"Just a little dizzy P, I just need a little rest"
"You're crazy, you are sleep deprived yet you won the try out" he chuckled
"Anyways why do you have that longsleeve swimming top, it's not necessary Nong" P'Dean added
"I-I'm not comfortable w-without it" shit I stutter
"But why? You look fit" the senior asked
"Uhm-" I was cut off when P'Win suddenly gave me a congee
"Eat" he said then pull P'Dean towards the food that P'Dean got for the both of them. I sighed in relief for P'Wins sensitivity
After a while I still can't sleep in the infirmary so I excused myself to leave and rest to my dorm since Pharm and Manaow have classes
"I think I should leave now and continue to rest to my dorm"
"You sure Team? it's really fine to stay here" Doc. Kit said
"It's okay P, I'm a lot better now" I said even though I'm still dizzy
"Do you want us to accompany you?" Pharm asked in worried voice
"No Pharm, I can go and you still have classes right?"
"If you say so but call us when you need something okay?" He replied and I nodded as a response
"Then see you all when I see you, I'll go ahead, thank you P's" I waved at them then took my bag and walked to the door.
I really did my best to not let them see I'm still struggling to stand up and walk. I think I pull it off since they didn't stop me from going
I sighed and rest a bit when I reached the ground floor. My head is pounding hard and my knees felt like jelly. I closed my eyes for a second, as if it will take away my pain when someone tapped my shoulder. I was startled when I looked at that person
"Aw P'Win. Why are you here?" I asked him but he didn't said anything except he handed me my phone. "I might forgot it a while ago" I recalled
"Thank you, I'll go ahead P" I walked away but after a few step, my vision blacked out that made me stop. I really hope that P turned his back already but.....the fate is not on me since he came and supported me.
"Tsk you shouldn't had leaved the infirmary" he said while shooking his head then get on his knees and I looked at him with a frown
"Dont look at me like that, hop in" he commanded
"No P it's fine, I can manage"
"You'll get on my back or I will carry you like a sack? You choose" he said with serousness. I don't have a choice so I let him.
"Where is your dorm?" P'Win asked
"XXX Dorm, the one in the front of the University" I respond and he just nodded
He started to walk while I'm on his back. "It's really nice to have someone to take care of me" I thought then I sighed because I suddenly missed him. If only he was here
"Why you didn't let your friends take you to your dorm?" He cutted off my little inner dialouge
"Nothing serious, I just.... I don't want them to sacrifice something for me just because I'm too weak to stand on my own. I dont want someone to giveup something important because I can't protect myself" I said
"But you must remember that no one is an island, you dont have to carry all the baggage by yourself all the time. It's good to be independent but let someone take care for you" he said and honestly, his words strike straight to my heart but I just can't..... I'm too afraid to let my vulnerability be seen by others. I'm too afraid to let them see my darkness and drag them along with the red river of mine
"Ehhh you're too serious P'. Anyways why are you carrying me when you can leave me there. You like me dont you?"
"Tsss. Said by the one who answered without seriousness anyways I don't want to see your dead body in front of me" he said sarcasticly
"Your so meannie" I said while pouting
"Stop that, you look like a pig. What floor and door number?"
"10th floor room 101"
"Tss. We're here get down" he commanded and I obeyed. I got down and unlocked the door
"Thank you P' I'll go in now"
"I thought you're calling me Hia? Or.....
" No P I mean Hia hehe.... I'll rest now Byee" I rushly opened the door and walked in but before I could slam the door right on his face, he stopped me by placing his hands on the door
"Wait... The doctor asked me to give this to you" Hia said and handed me the sleeping pills
"Dont hesitate to seek help sometimes Nong" he added and ruffled my hair while smilling then walked away.
I was strucked, I stood there rock still, reminising the smile he has on his face. "What the actual fucking hell....did he just smile on me?" I asked to myself because that was the freaking first time I saw him lift those fucking lips up

"He dont need them" Dr. Ming said meaningful
