Team's POV
The night is cold and breezy, I'm staring at the window of the moving bus as the wind blew on my face. The familiar road I see brings nostalgic feeling within me. "It's been a while since I've seen this city" I thought to my self
I don't know what to feel about being here again but one thing is for sure I'm not happy about it. Just the thought of getting back makes me feel anxious and nueseous at the same time.
I sighed then stood up, walked out from the bus when I reached my destination. I looked up at the building in front of me "High End University"
"There's no turning back" I mumbled then walked inside the dorm at the other side of the University with the hope that everything will be alright.
Days passed like a flash and it's been a week since I came back to my hometown, enrolled to a college, and got a dorm to finally live alone. It's slowly sinking to my head and to be honest I'm scared, scared of what's the future hold, scared if someone find out that I'm back
"Goodmorning everyone, My name is Tharn and I'll be your adviser and professor this year. I expect you all to behave yourselves as a mature college students not as a brat highschooler. Are we clear?" The professor stated and the rest of the day went on smoothly
The lunch arrived and cafeteria was jammed pack with the students that were loud as usual.
"Hi...Teerayusiri you are the transferee right? I'm Manaow and this is my friend Pharm. We're classmates if you could remember" a girl who destrupted my peaceful lunch
"Hi? Can I help you?" I asked and shooked her hands
"Do you mind if we sit here with you? The cafeteria is pretty packed today and we can't find a table" the boy named Pharm added
"No it's fine and just call me Team" I replied then they both thanked me and sat. We just ate in silence until Manaow finally broke it
"So Team since you are a transferee tell us about yourself. Me and Pharm are friends since we're in diapers. Our parents are best friends and live in the same neighborhood and we grew up here in Bangkok how about you?"
"I'm from Chiangmai with my aunt and his family"
"Ao what about your parents?" Pharm said
"They are....... gone" I said uncomfortably since I really hate talking about them
"Oh shit, sorry Team I shouldn't have asked that" he apologized
"No it's fine, you didn't know and also it's been years" I'm releaved that they didn't pry more about it instead asked me what club I'll join since both of them are in student council org
"I'll try the swimming club" I answered
"That'll be fun. You'll get to see those hot seniors half naked with their abs, muscles, and V line. Your so lucky, unlike us all we see are papers and hard headed student, really frustrating" she complained
"Yup no fun" Pharm said without enthusiasm. I just nod at them and about to say something when the whole place gone silent
We looked at the entrance when girls and some boys starts squealing and murmuring as a group of guys entered the cafeteria.
"Who are they? Are they celebrity or somethin'? These students squeels like a pig waiting to be slaughtered. My ears fucking hurts" I mocked while covering my ears
"Well you can't blame because you were somehow right. They are quite famous here and their group was the most admired one in the university" Pharm said staring at the group
"Why?" I asked them with a curious tone when he spoke of them highly
"You can say that they are from high profiled families like lawyers, business mans, doctors. You name it all, even one of them is a child of a head official of Crime Investigation Office"
"They are powerful then" I stated without taking my eyes off them
"Heck yeah, you don't know what they can do if someone belittle someone important to them." Manaow said which made me frown
"Last year one of those seniors lover was bullied by the other high class student. That asshole took a lot of photo of the boy naked secretly and leaked them within the university but just in an hour or 2, the photos were down from all the social media sites and the fucker who did that was now suffering in prison and sti has 5 to 10 years sentence" Pharm said in a hushed tone
"And You should be familiarized with them Team. They will be your seniors in the swimming club in case you pass the try-out. The club hold the title for the national swimming championship for 3 years already that's why they are really strict when it comes in recruting new members"
"How did you two even know this things" I asked them curiously
"Because we're great" they proudly said
"Yeah right" I said mockingly while rolling my eyes.
"You're fun to be with" Pharm said and they both giggled. I gave them a smile and shook my head
"Both of you are nice too" I compliment
"Ohhh before I forgot. When will be the try-out Team?" He said while grinning
"Next week why? Will you cheer for me?"
"Ofcourse not. We are there to see those hotties" Pharm said
"Did I just said you're both nice? Lemme take back what I said" I said with sarcasm
"Just be grateful we are there, we might cheer you up" Manaow teased
"As if I have a choice. I really thought both of you are good innocent company" I said to them
"We're good company Team but about that innocent thing, that was not in our vocabulary and you gotta deal with that for the rest of your life" I just rolled my eyes with her exclaimed.
The day of the try-out came and the stadium was filled with students along with my two newly found friends patiently waiting for the competition to start or should I say for the seniors to come out
I was quite nervous about this whole competition thing and I really want to enter the club. Swimming is the only thing I'm proud to myself
The crowd went loud when the seniors began to walk. They turn their gaze upon us, their juniors and introduced themselves
"I'm Forth, 3rd year law student president of the club"
"Prug, 3rd year business ad, secretary"
"Off, 3rd year business ad"
"Dean, 3rd year criminology"
"And Win 3rd year criminology, vice"
Then the second years introduced themselves
I was in awe with their built, I mean from afar they can make girls take a second glance but in face to face girls and boys will surely droll the life out of them
P'Forth started to orient the rules then he command us to take our marks for the competition to start. The whistle rung serving as a cue, we all jumped to the water carrying determination and passion to win with us.
My Self-training in chiangmai really paid off since I got the fastest score time and I was genuinly happy with what I got.
I emerged from water and was greeted from my friends that were jumping like a kangaroo. I smiled at them and joined their idiotic jump then...........
BANG!
A loud bang was heard across the stadium, lights went black and the last thing I knew I was already shaking and breathing hard. This is not the right time
