As I opened my eyes, I immediately shut them again.

Damn the stupidly bright sun...

...

Wait-

I fully opened my eyes and sat up in a hurry. I looked to see an expanse of grass surrounding me, with trees of green in the distance

Great, I'm in another strange place. Can I go one day without waking up in a new place?! How did I even get here anyway?

I remembered back to the events of the previous world.

I hope that hooded person is OK, they got shot while trying to help me. Now I'm stuck in another strange world.

I tried to stand up when I heard a cry from behind me

"Eevee?"

I turned to see a fluffy little animal staring at me with big brown eyes. Now normally, I would be squealing because this little one was adorable. Instead I sat there with shock written all over my face, a few words flying around my head

IS THAT A POKEMON?

I jumped back and landed on the grass as I stared in revelation at the creature in front of me

That is 100% a Pokemon, as in those creatures from the TV series. WHAT THE HELL! They are NOT supposed to exist in real life. This has gotta be a joke of some sort! Wha-

I frantic thoughts were cut short by a paw resting on my injured arm. I looked down to see the eevee licking the now scrapped bandage on my wrist. I tried to recoil my arm but was stopped by an immense jolt of pain. I winced as I kept my wrist there, the eevee now looking at me with concerned eyes.

"I mean, you guys are adorable though" I said as I patted it on the head with my uninjured hand. It nuzzled into my palm as I calmed down from the current situation.

After a few moments, I tried to stand up again. This time, I was able to stand up and look around properly.

This place I'm in, looks strangely like Pallet town, where Ash originated

I took in the view of the forest next to me. Dozens of pokemon scattered around me. Some flew over me and through the air, others climbed and swung from tree to tree. As I continued to look around, a sharp pain brought me back to reality.

Oh yea, I still have to deal with this stupid thing.

I gripped my wrist, trying to keep it steady as I started to walk towards a nearby house

Hopefully someone lives there. Then I can ask them where the nearest hospital is.

As I walked towards the house, I heard the patter of footsteps near me. I glanced behind me to see the eevee from before following me. I stopped and turned round, crouching to look at the adorable pokemon.

"You know, as adorable as you are, I'm not a trainer. So unfortunately, I can't catch you" I smiled sadly at the eevee as it looked disappointed. "But you seem pretty determined to follow me. If you want, when I get some pokeballs, I can catch you." I finished as the eevee's face lit up. It nodded as I stood up from the crouch and continued walking, still following behind me.

As I neared the house, I started to question my decisions.

This is probably a really stupid idea, what if the person living here asks where I'm from. I can't exactly say 'Oh yea, I'm just your average person from ANOTHER WORLD' And what if I can't get to a hospital from here, I've completely forgotten the map of this place. What if-
