Chapter 21

When summer came, I buried myself in my Job at the flower shop to kiss my step mom's ass. Kahit nga off ko, pumapasok parin ako eh para payagan ako na magjomalig kasama sina Kai. They planned to go there before the school year starts. 'Huling hirit sa summer' sabi pa nila.

And Kai regularly visits our shop too. Basta wala siyang lakad or gagawin, dito siya nakikitambay. Just like today. Nandito na naman siya at masayang nag-aayos ng bulaklak. Ate meg and I aren't complaining tho, kasi nakakatulong din naman siya sa amin kahit papaano.

The three of us looked at the door when the chime rang "Sup bro" Pambungad naman ng pumasok. It was Miguel, Kasunod niya ay si Aron at Jann. Agad naman tumaas ang kilay ko.

"Why are you all here?" Kairus raised his brow as well while putting a ribbon around the bouquet he's making.

"Ako bibilhan ko ng bulaklak ang girlfriend ko." Pagdadahilan ni Jann tapos tumingin sa labas.

"Uhm. ako ano..." Miguel struggled to give a reason "Ano! Bibili ako ng korona pampatay!" He exclaimed.

"Para kanino?" I asked then sipped water from my tumbler.

"Para kay Aron. Condolence bro" Tinapik niya ang kaibigan.

"Bobo ka dude" Sabi naman nung isa at tuluy-tuloy na pumunta sa customer's longue at umupo doon.

Kai slapped his forehead and asked again "Seriously, what?" Tapos lumapit siya sa mga kaibigan. Natawa naman ang mga ito nang makita siyang nakasuot ng apron. It was a little too girly for his personality.

Aron fished out his phone to try to take a picture of my boyfriend and the latter didn't care at all. He just waited for their answer.

"Tara pre long nights. Namimiss ko na mag Wow!" Paninimula ni Jann. Wow? As in World of warcraft?

"No" My boyfriend said in finality and drank water from my tumbler. "Walang kasama si Avi dito."

"Ay pucha! Mahina." Miguel acted like he was hurt.

But Jann was persistent so he looked at me "Avi patulong." I nodded and Kai looked at me in betrayal.

I smiled and hugged his waist "Love. Sumama kana. Hindi lang dapat sa isa't-isa umiikot ang mundo natin" Paglalambing ko. The three boys mumbled in agreement. "Gusto mo bang sumama?"

He nodded and said "Pero wala kang kasama. Diba sasama pa ako mamaya sainyo ni Aya?"

"Mab-bored ka dun. Hihilahin lang ako ni Aya sa mga gusto niyang stores. Di ka mag-eenjoy. Promise! Mas mag eenjoy ka sa paglalaro niyo." Pag papaliwanag ko para pumayag siya.

He smiled "Call me if anything happens" I kissed his cheek and nodded. He looked at his friends then asked "San tayo?"

"Comp shop." Aron grinned.

They waited for Kai to be done at yung isa ay inassure muna na magiging okay ako.

"Tara na pre! Parang di ka mabubuhay ng di mo kasama si Avery eh" Miguel stated his observations.

When they went out, I continued entertaining walk-in customers for their desired arrangements. Aya came right before the end of my shift, She didn't go inside the shop anymore and texted me that she'll wait outside the shop.

"Passenger ka luvs" She said when she saw me.

"Asan driver mo?" I asked as I sat on the front seat and wore my seatbelt.

It's not a shocking news to see Aya drive. Pinapayagan din naman siya i-drive yung sasakyan niya kaso hindi madalas dahil nga lagi niyang nagagasgas mga ginagamit niya. Ayun! Nawalan ng tiwala sina Tito at Tita.
