Lee POV: My lover, Gaara is home, we did one of those airplane runs he ran into my arms and I picked him up in a kiss holding him and spinning, it's been a while. He was smaller, he still tasted of sweet spearmint. I held him and felt his tense arms loosening. Our lips separated and I held him to my chest. How's it been? We walked hand in hand to his house.

"I love you babe!"

" I love you Gaara I missed you." I replied tbh it felt like nothing changed.except his hair, that's what bothered me, it was slicked down, and I wished there wasn't so much gel! I wanted to play with it.

"You pierced your ears, honey?"

" Oh yeah yeah! I thought it was cute" I responded

"I think it's cute,!" I payed attention to every word he said he was my boyfriend and I loved his as I knew it.

" Hey lover boys!" Temari teased

"Hey uhm Temari" I sighed

"Long time sis"

"I know"

"Hey why don't you guys go hang out yknow get confortable"

"TEMARI!" Gaara shouted

"I don't get it"

"It's okay babe" Tomorrow was the day- I would purpose I couldn't wait for Gaara and I to be together he was just so well so amazing, he lit up my world. He was still perfect.

"Babe can we go to bet I am tired?" I wasn't really I just wanted to pass time

Gaara POV:

We got settled into his bed, I had my purple pajama shorts. Lee was in a tank and shorts, his bed was small I pulled him closer up to my chest.

"I love you babe" I whispered in his ear.

"I love you more, honey" he replied and just like that we were asleep, as I slept I woke up. To see Lee standing in the hallway with his shirt off. Wow he was hot- he is baby though he is cute.

"Babeeeeee, come back I'm cold," I wined

"Sorry sweetie" he said. He came back and I wrapped my arms around him I but my head on his back feeling his heartbeat. I lied there I felt so safe.

"Babe I need to get up I have to see Ino she needs help today," Lee complained

"Fine I am staying here then"

"Sorry babe"

I felt as the warmth left his pillows- his smell still lingers, Sweet Tea and Sweat, something that sounds gross but it smelt good it smelt like home. I batted my eyes around his room he had basic chapstick, strawberry. Clothes, just a little his room was clean for the most part. He had a book on the ground. This felt safe. Whenever I was with him I would feel hot with love- so much I couldn't express it. It was hard I was born.. different. I had some form of dyslexia or autism I didn't quite remember, I didn't know how to express I mean I never felt pain until Lee and I battled. His smile warming the room. Damn his smile it made me feel so warm! His dumb smile I loved.

"Babe wait in the room please!"

"Okay!" Was I really ranting to myself for so long? I waited Lee walked in with a nice grey suit.

"What's this for babe?"

"Oh well I thought we could have like a picnic date yknow"

"Okay Lee!"

"Oh and I got this for you to wear!"

"Thanks," I looked down it was a red dress but not quite. It was a dark red button up top very sharp looking and red lights along with a small cape.

"Go change" Lee squealed as he handed me the dress his dumb smile god I loved this man!

"Yesh babe!" I got up and changed, I looked good in it, I walked out and jumped to kiss Lee I missed and got his chin, so he bent down and kissed me.

"Hey,.. I got you this" he said handing me a thing of flowers, all perfect and tied with a bow. "I hope you like it"

"Oh what's this for?"

"I don't know I missed you!"

"Let's go for lunch I guess"

Lee POV: it's almost time it's almost time there was a bench but we brought a blanket. As Gaara set up I hid my phone and the camera so he couldn't see as he finished I took deep inhales of air, I was terrified.

"Ready to dig in?" He asked

"No actually there is something I wanted to ask you first." I stood up just to kneel, I pulled his emerald ring out of my pocket. "Will you make me even happier by taking my hand in a life long love, or will you marry me!"

"Sorry.. but no"

"What? Babe.."

"I'm. Sorry I left you alone for so long I can't do it again I have to be hazukage."

"The thing is" I said holding on tears " I wanted to move to the sand with you but you said no I accept that" he held a glance as my tears fell.

"Well in that case" he got close and pushed his lips to mine as my tears dried I inhaled his smell of cologne. "Yes, I just don't want to hurt you."

"You won't" I said in between kisses I loved this man! I put the ring to his finger.
