Chapter 12: She sobbed into her hands

Gaara POV:
It was about 7 and I was hard at work. Until I heard a nock at the door.
"I'll get it!" My lover Lee yelled
"Okay babe!"
"Welcome Temari and Shikadai!" I heard Lees voice echo as I walked down the stairs to see Temari almost in tears.
"Shikadai sweetie why don't you go play with Lee" I said calmly
" let's go upstairs Temari.. Kankuro is waiting. " she sniffles and follows I see a tear fall down her face as she stumbled and almost drops her purse. We arrived and I pulled her out a seat.
"Okay what's wrong? Who hurt you?" I ask
"If somebody touched you I swear-" Kankuro yelled.
"I.." she sobbed into her hands " I am-" she pulls out a tiny flag on a stick. It was black grey white and green" agender" she cried more.
"You are!?" Kankuro asked
"What.. what does that mean?" I couldn't tell what was happening.
"It means I don't.. I don't want to be restricted to feminine or masculine.. I don't want to have a gender" we locked eyes as her tears fell I began to cry and hug her.
"I still love my older siste- sibling" their tears slowed as I got them a tissue.
"Does Shikamaru know?" Kankuro asked
"Yes he dumped me for... Naruto"
"I'm going to kick his ASS!" I yelled
"No don't, TenTen keeps flirting with me and I kinda like her"
"What about Shikadai?" Kankuro pestered
"He stays with me.. in the leaf"
"Okay" Kankuro responded
"Let's go see him" I said.
"Can I call you Tomorrow?" Kankuro asked
"Yeah hahah" she laughed through her slowing tears.
