Bill's POV

When I woke up this morning, I remembered Georgie never came back home last night. "C-crap." I say to myself. I grab a pair of jeans and a long sleeve. I honestly didn't know if it was clean or not, but I took it anyway. I ran to the bathroom to take a shower and change. After I was finished, I sprinted down stairs to get breakfast.

My mom looked at me with a face that made me scared. Of course, I'm scared of everything! I have been for a while. My biggest fear has always been clowns though. "Bill, where's your brother?" My mom said, looking me dead in the eye. "I-i d-dont know." I said back, as I continued eating my pancakes. "Well, do you know where you last saw him?" She said. "Y-yes, he w-was o-outside last n-night." I stuttered. "What!" My mother yells. "You let him go out there in the rain all alone!?" "S-sorry mom." I say looking down. "William Denbrough! You know he's only eight years old!" She yells at me again. "Y-yeah I know." I said back. "W-well, I'm g-going to b-be l-late for s-sc-school. Bye!" I said, as I ran out the door.

I ran into the school, hoping I wasn't late. As I walked over to my locker, I heard the second bell ring. "C-come on!" I mutter. I picked up my stuff and ran into the classroom. "Hey lover boy, your late." A familiar voice says in the back of the classroom. "Shut up, Richie!" I say, without stuttering. I do that slot when I get mad. It's like I lose my stutter for a second and then it comes back. I walked over to my desk and sat down with a sigh. This is going to be another long year, I thought.
