Back at Joyce's house with Hopper
"What? I mean, maybe he dropped them or something." Joyce says. "I don't know, Joyce. They also said that his car was left there too. They found it in the middle of Cornwallis street." Hopper says. "Oh my God" "We need to go to Cornwallis." Mike says. They all get packed into separate cars and bikes. Joyce was the last one to start heading out the door, until she heard something. She turned around to be surprised by flickering lights.
This hasn't happened since Will was stuck in the Upside Down. "Hopper, come here. Hopper!" Joyce yells. "What is it, Joyce?" Hopper asks, as he comes back into the house. "The-the lights." Joyce says, as she points to at the Christmas lights she had hung up. "What about them?" Hopper asks. "Do you not see them flickering?" "Yeah, I see, but it's probably just the electricity messing up." Hopper said. "That's exactly what happened with Will, though." Joyce says, back. Joyce then walks up to the ABC's painted on her wall and starts yelling. "Bob? Bob!"
"Joyce! Stop, no one is going to answer. Just stop, Joyce!" Hopper yells at her. As Joyce calls for Bob, the lights start to flicker above the letters. Joyce tries to see what the word was. The letters spelled out the word HELP. "Help you with what? Who are you?" Joyce asks. The lights flicker above the letters again, spelling out another word. The red light above the B, the green light above the O, and the red light above the B again. "Bob!" Joyce yells. "Okay honey, I need you to tell me what happened. tell me where you are." She said. "This is crazy." Hopper says, as he walks forward. The lights soon dies down and Bob is no longer there. Then all of a sudden the phone rings.
Hopper walks over to the phone and picks it up. "Hello?" Hopper says, into the phone. He could hear muffled breathing on the other end. "I-its Bob, Hopper. You need to help me. I-its dark and cold and I don't know where I am." Bob says. "Okay, what do you see around you?" Hopper asks. "Hopper you need to go. Get Joyce and run! Run, Hopper!" Bob says. The phone call ended with Bob running away. "Joyce, we need to go."
