The losers got back in their car and Mike and his friend got back on their bikes. The Derry kids followed Mike, because he knew where he was going. Once they got to Joyce's house, they ran inside to find Bob. But Bob was no where to be found. Mike rushed over to Joyce and asked her about Bob. "Ms. Byers, where is Bob?" "Actually, I have no idea. He hasn't been answering my calls lately." Joyce says.
The losers were looking around confused. "Um, why are there a bunch of lights everywhere? It's not Christmas." Mike H. Says laughing. "She says she can talk to people from another dimension." Someone says, walking through the front door. "Hey, Hopper!" Joyce says, happily. "What are you doing here?" "Well, there are a lot of missing people in this town." Hopper starts. Richie, Eddie, and Stanley look at each other. "So, my friends went out looking for clues and stuff. Later that day, I got a call saying they found something unusual." Hopper says.
"What did they find?" Eddie says, back. "Over by this tree, that apparently had this weird slimy stuff in it, was some plastic vampire fangs. They brought it back to the station to get tested. An hour later, after all the tests, they found out it was from a guy named Bob."
