I wish you were here with me,
Wish I don't feel so empty,
And you stroke my hair softly,
And told me life will be good slowly,
Just hold on tightly,
So tightly,
But,
You are the one I wanna hold tight,
Repeat your name whole night,
Closed my eyes, all I see is you,
In all the shades of violet and blue,
Used to listen to your lullabies,
Why my world got so quiet?
And you are so far to know this,
And you are all I know and miss.
So I wish you were here with me,
Wish I don't feel so empty,
And you wipe my tears softly,
And told me life will be good slowly,
It's all going to be fine surely,
So surely,
But,
How can you I be so sure,
From a life in which you are no more.
No more blissful mornings,
No more endless evenings,
Your smile won't be there,
Your words won't be heard,
And you are so far to know this,
And you are all I know and miss.
So I wish you were here,
Slowly and softly,
This pain would disappear.
