Alone [Hiatus]

Chapter 4: Kusagakure >Part 2<

"Come on, Ayumi-chan. Let's head out.!" Sayomi exclaimed happily, fully rested.

"No." Ayumi stated flatly, not rested at all.

"Hm? What's up with you Ayumi-chan? You're always the one to get right up if you're not up first..." Sayomi responded, sitting on the side of the bed where her sister was laying.

"Mn." Ayumi mumbled as she got out of bed and went to the bathroom to change, "Alright, we can go now." Ayumi stated once she walked out of the bathroom, fully changed.

Her team gave her worried looks but figured it was best to not push it, at least until they reached home. Kana nodded, "Kay kiddies. Let's go!"

Sayomi cheered while Miyu simply sighed and Ayumi stared blankly. Sayomi glanced worriedly at Ayumi again but fought the urge to argue with her about what's wrong.

Oddly enough, the Konoha team had no problems leaving the village nor once they got half way to Konoha. Kana knew it was too good to be true for them to make it there and back without trouble. Unfortunately, Kana knew who their enemy was.

"Sana Satoshi." Kana growled out, glaring fiercely at the young woman.

Ayumi scanned the area around them, it seemed to only be the woman and three other people. They weren't in plain sight but, they weren't exactly trying to hide.

"Kana-sensei-" Sayomi began until the woman cut her off.

"So you finally got yourself a team, hm?" The woman questioned with a smirk.

Kana's glare became darker and angrier, "Shut up. You know nothing. What are you doing here with your followers?"

Sana's eyes narrowed at her, "Watch your mouth Kana-san. We wouldn't want you genin team to find out what happened to your team when you were their age."

Kana's eyes widened for a moment before narrowing as well, "You wouldn't dare. That's in the past. It shouldn't have happened but it did! I can't change that fact anymore than you can!"

"Shut up!" Sana cried out as she punched Kana in the stomach. "You let them die!"

"Gahk!" Kana groaned and coughed up blood, "Sana-chan. You know I know that's not true."

"LIAR!" Sana shouted as she sent a quick burst of chakra through her fist as she punched Kana again, causing her to fly backwards into a tree.

Kana groaned in pain again as she coughed up more blood.

"Don't hurt our sensei!" Sayomi yelled as she ran towards Sana.

"Sayomi-chan, don't!" Ayumi and Miyu yelled, but it was too late. Sana repeated the process of sending a burst of chakra through her fist and punched Sayomi which caused her to fly into Kana, causing them to fall to the ground.

"Sayomi-chan! Kana-sensei!" Miyu cried out, a look of panic crossing her face.

"Miyu-chan. Calm down... Back to back, now." Ayumi stated. Miyu nodded and they turned so their backs were nearly touching.

"I know all ninja academies are different but I'm sure they all teach you how to calm down and assess a situation." Ayumi began. Miyu nodded for her to continue.

"Do exactly that." Ayumi stated again.

So that's exactly what the girls began doing.

"You're a smart child dear... What's your name?" Sana smiled, a clearly fake smile.

Ayumi glared at her, "I'm not telling you anything."

Sana smirked, "But I already know your teammates names. Sayomi... Miyu... and of course your dear sensei, Kana."
