Alone [Hiatus]

Chapter 6: Kurai Akumu

"Ryuuichi-san. The time for the next recruitment is approaching rapidly. You must decide what you are going to do. QUICKLY." A man with silver hair that was nearly graying and blue eyes stated.

On the outside Ryuuichi had a blank stare as he nodded, "Hai, Roka-sama. I will have my answer in three days."

Roka nodded, "Very well, no more than three though. On the fourth night, we will begin our planning phase. I do hope you don't allow any ties nor emotions affect your decisions."

On the inside Ryuuichi was sweating bullets. Ryuuichi was panicking, screaming for help from his home village, from his family. No one could help him though. He allowed this to happen and he'd have to live with his actions forever to protect them.

How can you protect the only one you care about when you must hurt them? It can't be done.

For the rest of the night, the ravenette paced back and forth in his designated room as he tried to think of what he could do. There were five options that he could do. Each one would be just as painful and full of betrayal. How could his cousin go through this without a care? It's insane!

Ryuuichi finally stopped and sighed in defeat. He knew what he'd have to do and he knew it'd hurt like hell but, he was going to do it.

"You actually look like you're struggling with this decision."

Ryuuichi turned to see his dark blue haired teammate standing in his doorway. Throwing her a glare, he questioned her, "What do you want Ritsuko-san?"

Ritsuko smirked and shrugged, "Nothing at all. Just passing by and noticed you looking deep in thought."

Ryuuichi rolled his eyes and walked over to his doorway where she was, "Pester someone else."

A sarcastic laugh escaped her mouth as she turned around, "I don't pester. Just a little advice though... Go with the one that will cause the most blood to be spilled."

Ryuuichi scowled at her retreating form before closing the door.

Ritsuko always had to be nosy and get in everybody's business in the most sadistic of ways.
