ANDREA'S P.O.V
I woke up at 9:36 am and rubbed my eyes. I had been home alone last night with my best friend Cara because my mom went out with her boyfriend Peter who's visiting her from California. We went to bed before they came home.
I looked at Cara, she was still asleep. I decided to just leave her for awhile and go downstairs and get some breakfast.
I came downstairs to my mom and Peter dancing around the kitchen happily to the radio and my mom had a fry cooking for us. I wondered why they were so cheery...
"Andrea! You're awake finally," my mom shouted happily.
"Yeah... Why so happy?" I questioned.
"Well.... We've got some news dear.." She dragged it on, but I could already partly guess what the news was.
"Well?" I said, looking back from her to Peter, both of them smiling so big.
"Peter proposed last night!" My mother shrieked, and with that Peter hugging her tightly.
I was happy for her because she really loves Peter and I like him, he's really nice and funny.
"You'll finally get the chance to meet my kids, Andrea, along with Anthony and Anna too,"
I was excited but strangely nervous because I knew one of his children from watching his videos on YouTube, and he seems really cool and popular (of course) and I was just nervous as to what he'd be like.
My mom and Peter have been working together for the past 6 years, that's how they met. They've only been together for 2 and a half years now.
Anyway, all I knew was I was really excited for the wedding. My mom suddenly snapped me out of my thoughts and pulled me aside.
"Andrea, in about a month me and Pete were already planning on moving to California as you know, but I want to know if it's definitely okay with you to come with us?"
"Mom I'm happy if you're happy, and honestly I wouldn't mind moving to California," I said happily. I was a bit unsure whether I wanted to move or not but we could try it.
I was excited to see what was in store..
