Chapter 15

KIAN'S POV
Andrea just sent me a text that made my stomach explode with butterflies.
I decided to go upstairs to Sam before I left to see if he was alright.

I got upstairs and went into his bedroom.
"Sam?"

"What's up, Kian," he had a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"What's goin on buddy? Why'd you leave like that earlier when Andrea came up in conversation? Is something wrong?"

Sam looked up at me from his bed with sad eyes.

"Nothing's wrong, Kian. It's just.... Why can't I have a girlfriend? I wish girls liked me as much as they like you,"

I was quite shocked. I'd never seen Sam like this. Is this how he really felt?

"Sam, plenty of girls like you, maybe you just haven't found the one yet,"

"I dunno Kian. Wherever she is, I hope she comes soon. Anyway, I'm tired, I'm gonna go for a nap."

"She will Sammy, I know it. Okay man, I'll text you later, please don't worry about this,"

"Thanks man, I'll see you later Ki."

I closed the door and I walked downstairs and told the guys I'm heading home. I hoped Sam was okay.

ANDREA'S POV
I'm still lying on my bed when I heard the front door open. It must be Kian, our parents are at his dads friends house.

I fix my hair in the mirror and check my teeth. I run downstairs in my blue pajama shorts and a big white jumper.

To my immediate surprise, Kian was not standing in the hallway. It was the guy me and Jenn ran into in town last week. The guy with the cigarette and the two friends. I froze in front of him.

"I'm looking for Izzi?"
He said, I don't think he recognized me just yet.
He was wearing a black leather jacket and jeans with black boots, and his hair was messy.

Just after he spoke he took out a cigarette and began trying to light it.

"You can't smoke in here," I told him,
"It'll stink up the house."
"Why would you be here for Izzi?"

He looked at me straight in the face, he's piercing green eyes making me feel uncomfortable.

"I know you," he began, "I met you and your little blonde friend last week right? With my friends,"
As he spoke he was smiling, and he put the cigarette in between his teeth and began lighting it. I didn't try stopping him this time, I was too scared.

"Izzi's my new girlfriend,"
He said, taking a pull from the cigarette.
"Didn't she tell you about me? Her new, older bad boyfriend? Well that's me sweetheart,"

He had a devilish smile that made me want to smack him across the face. He took a step closer to me, still looking me in the eyes. He was so tall.

"I think you need to leave. Izzi isn't here so there's no reason why you should be, and there's no way you should be dating her either,"
I was genuinely angry that this scumbag thought he could just stroll in acting like he lives here, and claims he's dating Izzi?!

"I bet her parents don't know about you? Or her older brother? We'll see how cool you are then,"

"Ooooh, you're a feisty one, I knew it when I saw you in town last week,"

My face immediately went bright red. I didn't know what to say to this strange guy.

"They can find out about me, I don't care. We'll just see what see what happens if they do,"
His smile widened. He took another pull of his cigarette and blew it in my direction.

"Get out. I don't wanna see you here again,"
I'm nearly shouting now, and I walk to the door and open it for him gesturing for him to leave.

"Okay gorgeous," he said laughing, "What's your name by the way?
Mines Max,"

"I don't care! Leave,"
I gestured to the door again.

He finally strolled out the door with a grin on his face, and as he was walking down the driveway I heard him mumble:
"Told you I'd see you soon."
