Chapter 7

ANDREA P.O.V
I woke up in my room. I did not remember falling asleep in here, but I just brushed it off and got up to get ready.
I had a quick shower, struggling with everything because of my ankle, thank god I was seeing the doctor later.
I put on my makeup and didn't bother drying my hair, I prefer letting it dry naturally.
Then I put on my favourite pair of black skinny jeans, a grey crop top and my black Doc Martins.
Before I left, I threw on a flannel and sprayed on some Beyoncé Heat perfume.
Today I'm meeting Jenn, Arden and Lauren in Panera for lunch. I haven't seen them since I was last in California like 6 months ago, I'm super excited.
I finally arrived, and I walked in and saw Arden and Jenn sitting at a table. They got up and ran to me, we all had a group hug.
They asked me how my new life was going in the Lawley's house, and I told them it was pretty good, considering it was only my second day in California.

"You guys going to the party on Saturday?" I asked them.

"Yep, both of us and Lauren, she's late because she got caught up with her boyfriend but were all going," Arden said excitedly.

"Yeah actually we were gonna go shopping after this for something to wear, wanna come?" Jenn asked.

"Definitely!"
I was so excited. We waited for Lauren and then headed off.

KIAN P.O.V

I was on my way to Taylor's house to pick her up, cause we were going to the mall. I don't feel like doing something with her today. She's so naggy and annoying sometimes....

Before I left the house I cleaned myself up big time. I shaved, had a long hot shower, made my hair look presentable and made sure I smelt real good, this was an improvement of what I'd been like the past few days.

Last night Andrea fell asleep on the couch and I didn't wanna wake her, so I carried her upstairs to bed. I didn't see her this morning because she left early meeting up with her friends. I dunno but, I just liked her. I liked her, as a person, I wanted to be friends with her, spend time with her... You know, just get to know her. But that would be hard with Taylor as a girlfriend.

I pulled up outside and texted Taylor, before the text even delivered she ran out her front door and hopped in the front seat.

"What took you so long?? I've been waiting since 11!!"

"I had to shower and stuff, unless you wanted me to be ugly and stinky,"

"Okay I suppose, no one wants that,"

We arrived at the mall and she began asking questions again.

"So... Did you see Andrea today?" She asked.

"Nope, she went out with her friends this morning,"

"She already has friends? What, did she buy them? She only moved here yesterday!" She said, laughing.

"Taylor, she's a YouTuber. She is obviously going to know other YouTubers, who may live in California,"

She kind of went quiet then. I felt sorta bad because I kinda snapped but I then didn't care because she was being rude anyway.

She grabbed my hand and I changed the subject so she wouldn't keep talking about Andrea.

ANDREA P.O.V
We had gone to so many shops and I had no clue what to wear to the party. Our last stop was Forever 21, and I spotted the outfit I needed right when I walked through the door.

It was a black velvet skirt, shortish and tight, and a black and grey crop top with a V cut and string sleeves, it was also tight and met the skirt perfectly at the waist with just a bit of skin showing. I took the outfit in my size and tried it on in the changing room.

"Andrea, you look absolutely amazing...." Jenn said, her jaw dropped.

"Oh my god, your ass looks amazing in that skirt... Get this outfit Andrea!!!!" Lauren squealed.
They all had their outfits already and I knew this was mine.

"I'm gonna get it,"

I said excitedly. Arden, Jenn and Lauren jumped up and down as I closed the curtain of the changing room to undress.

I looked in the mirror once more before I took it off, and it really was nice. The skirt was tight and just above my knee, and the top was the perfect fit and my boobs looked bigger than usual. It was really showing all the curves and edges in my body, yet not too revealing. I loved it.
I was excited to go home with all my shopping from that day, plus my ankle was getting sore.

I got changed and payed for the dress and we walked out of the shop back into the mall.

And who happened to walk by? Oh just Kian and his girlfriend who probably hates me.

KIAN P.O.V
Me and Taylor just walked out of the shoe shop opposite Forever 21. Just as we did, Andrea, Jenn, Lauren and Arden were walking out of Forever 21.
Taylor hadn't noticed them yet, so I tried to keep walking so she wouldn't approach them, it could be bad news.
But of course, Jenn, Arden and Lauren started shouting:
"Oh my god, Kian!"
"Heeyyyy!! Kian!!"
They ran over to us. Taylor saw Andrea and immediately put her arm around my waist and said,
"Let's go talk to them," with a sneaky smile on her face.

We walked over and Andrea was standing there awkwardly smiling. I looked at her and smiled and she seemed to relax a bit.
We stood there talking for a bit, Taylor smiling and nodding with everything the 3 girls said, being fake, something she often did.

"We just went shopping for Saturday, Kian," Andrea said.

Oh god. I never told Taylor I invited her. Oh god. I knew she was gonna be angry.

All the other girls then were agreeing and saying how excited they were. I looked at Taylor, and she was giving Andrea the death stare. And I mean, if looks could kill, Andrea would be a goner. Andrea stopped talking and looked away from me and Taylor.

"Um, guys, I gotta go soon to help my mom unpack the rest of the stuff and then I gotta go to the doctors, you know, for my ankle," she said quickly with her head half down. I felt really embarrassed and sorry for her..

The girls said their goodbyes and they all walked away.

I listened to Taylor give out to me for the rest of our shopping trip about Andrea and her friends being invited, and why didn't I ask her, and this and that. I just tried to ignore her and change subject.

She eventually wanted to be brought home. I drove her home and she barely even said goodbye when she got out of the car. I was pretty pissed off, how could I be going out with someone so dramatic and rude? It was something that felt like I could never get out of, Taylor was my girlfriend for a few years in high school and it's as if we HAVE to be together. It's like a way of life or something, according to her. Honestly, I was really beginning to question this.

I went home and eventually fell asleep on the couch with one of Andrea's dogs. It had been a tiring few hours.
