Leah's POV
Last night I had the worst nightmare imaginable. It seemed like I could not escape it even if I wanted to.
Beginning of Nightmare
I was standing in the middle of my own house. I had a feeling that I was being watched by someone, I turned to see the eyes of my father, his eyes blazing red, and his face etched with disappointment and a hint of anger as well.
"D-Dad? Is that really you?" I had said while moving towards him. I simply stopped when he backed away with a snarl on his lips.
"What the hell are you doing here Leah, I thought that sending you away to live with your mother was clear enough but I guess not. I don't want you here. I don't love you anymore, you see my life is better now that I don't have to deal with you or your crazy mother ever again." He snarled.
I rebounded, tears welling up in my eyes, I didn't understand what he was saying, my father, the one man that I had loved with all of my heart had simply cast me out of his life and claimed that he was better off without me.
"Daddy please I need you, I love you with all my heart, please don't do this"I said while he shifted into his alpha form, red eyes burning like the fiery flames of hell and he stalked towards me a little before fully lunging trying to tear my heart out, it was like he was trying to kill me.
End of Nightmare
I woke up with a start, heart pounding, limbs shaking, and a scream building in my lungs. Tears were falling from my eyes and Allie came running into the room with a worried look on her face, trailing behind her, was her father Dean and Uncle Sam. I must have looked really bad because the next thing that I know is that Allie's arms are engulfing me in a hug. I wasted no time in returning the hug, we must have stayed like that for a long time because the boys decided to come into the hug as well. Tears fell from my eyes for a long time, Allie holding me impossibly closer to her, as I clung to her as if my life depended on it. She seemed to sense my distress because not one word was said through all of this.
"I'm sorry that I woke you guys up like this, I have no idea what came over me." I said with a small and shaky voice. It must have been bad because normally my voice doesn't sound like this. I looked away from everyone, feeling the heat of embarrassment flood my face, knowing that I couldn't keep my emotions in check after one stupid nightmare, but the nightmare seemed so real but I knew in my heart that the nightmare it wasnt true.
After what seemed like an eternity, arms slowly let go of me and Dean forced my head up to meet his eyes. His eyes were saying a lot of things, but the most prominent emotion was concern.
"Sweetheart, you don't have to feel bad about this, it is NOT your fault you understand me? Everyone has bad nightmares, the most important thing right now is that you have people here that are willing to help and support you after it." Dean said while looking straight into my eyes.
I hugged Dean personally, his strong arms came around my still shaking frame and held me close. It felt really nice. I happened to glance over at the clock that was on the nightstand. It read 8:30am.
"Crap, I need to get going, umm Dean I really like this but I kind of need to get dressed so that I can go see my father." I said while trying to figure out how the hell I am going to get there in time. From what I can remember dad would usually leave for one of his runs in about an hour, and it was going to take me about an hour to get there so I had to leave now or else the surprise would be ruined I would damned if I let that happen. I am not going to let all of the time in preparation for this moment when I finally see my dad to go to waste.
