Reverse

Chapter 2

_Eri POV_

I had my eyes glued to the window, watching the world speed by. A few minutes passed until the car jerked to a stop. I was flung against the seat belt and I turned to look at the driver. She was muttering and I saw her lift her hand with one finger raised. (You know which one.)The car started moving again.

"Sorry 'bout that!" she called over her shoulder.

"It's fine..."

My voice slowly getting softer as my attention turned back to the window.
The car next to us had a dog sticking it's head out the window. I waved to the dog as the car pulled away from us.

Eventually we pulled into the police station's parking lot. The officer helped me out of the car and led me inside the station. She sent me to a room with nothing but a table with chairs on opposite sides of it. She gestured for me to sit in the chair on one side of the table. She left the room after telling me someone else will come in soon.

I heard the door open and I stared at the person? walking in. The person was a cat. I mean not literally, but his head was definitely that of a cats. He walked over to the table and smiled at me.

"Hello! I am officer Sansa Tamakawa! It is very nice to meet you!"
He introduced himself then pulled out the chair and sat. 

(Le time skip 'cause interrogation is boring I just wanted her to meet Sansa 'cause he's adorable. =3)

 He stood up and started to leave the room. When he passed me he patted my head. I liked him, he was cute and nice. I giggled, I mean he was a cat and he basically just pet a person.

"Follow me please, Eri." He said holding out his gloved hand. I grabbed his hand and followed him. He led me out of the room and stopped in front of a serious looking lady. Sansa and her talked for a bit which I tuned out. Sansa tapped me on the head and I looked up.

"Eri you're going to go to an orphanage. Do you know what that is?" He asked me.

I nod, but I'm confused 'What about my mama?' He must have seen the confused look on my face or I said that out loud because he looked uncomfortable.

"Your mom is... dead. I'm so sorry Eri but you have to go with this lady to the orphanage." He says, he looks worried. 

I stare at him.

"D-dead? But s-she, how?" I feel tears gathering in my eyes about to spill. Sansa sighs and crouches down in front of me.

"Y-your quirk Eri, we think your quirk made her... disappear." He avoids eye contact.

"My quirk? I killed my mama!? What even is my quirk?!" I say my voice getting louder.

"It only worked on your mom and only started working when your head started hurting, so we're guessing it only works on living things. And that it comes from your horn." Sansa patted my head softly.

"So I kill people when I touch them? That's my quirk?!" I stare at him in horror. I kill people by touching them? My quirk is horrible!

"No that couldn't be right, you have to activate it somehow because none of the officers that touched you died." He softly smiled at me. "Your quirk isn't bad, Eri, you aren't bad." 

The lady coughed slightly into her fist as if she was getting impatient. Both me and Sansa looked up.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry Miss. You can take her now." He gave me a quick hug before standing up.

"This is Kana Endo, she will be your caretaker. Ok, Eri?"

I nod slowly, she was tall and, she looked too serious to be someone who deals with children.

"I'll be taking my leave now."

Even her voice was serious! I took a small step away from her and towards Sansa. He ruffled my hair and nudged me in her direction. I slowly followed her as she walked out of the station. 

'Bye Sansa-Chan'

Sansa turned away from the door's to the station. He slowly walked back to his desk. Tsukauchi looked up and raised a brow. Sansa turned to him before saying,

"That kid... was adorable!"

"Sansa calm down. It's just a kid."

"But she was so cute and sweet and nice and I could just hug her forever!"

He hugged himself while Tsukauchi laughed at him. He pouted at Tsukauchi before sitting at his desk and getting back to work.

Well that's chapter two! Isn't Sansa just adorable. My excuse for taking a while to write such a short (In my standards) chapter is I couldn't choose which officer for her to meet. Tsukauchi, Sansa, an oc, or some rando with no importance. As you can see I chose Sansa. I love him! He's a cat guy! And his little bell on his police uniform is so adorable! Ok I'll stop fangirling. 😅 I'm glad I got this chapter out! Also I'm sorry about Kana's name I just looked up random Japanese surnames and first names. The first name means powerful if you care at all. I hope you liked my book! :3
