(Eri will get a friend from 1-A or maybe 1-B or support or general education course! You never know who! Maybe I'll even put two characters in the orphanage! Though I'll probably have a picture of them soooo, yeah! But if there are two I'll only have a pic of one of them!)
_Eri POV_
Miss. Endo led me to sleek black car in the parking lot. (I don't know carsss that's my brothers job I imagine its a little big to hold the many childsss) She opens the rear door and gestures for me to get in. I struggle a little trying to get in. Miss. Endo just huffs and goes around the car to the drivers side door. I stop for a second and look at her pleading with my eyes for her to help me. She stares at me for a second halfway into the car. She sighs and mumbles something along the lines of: 'I have to get her to the orphanage at least. With the other little dogs.' I frown a little, dogs? Did she mean the other kids at the orphanage? They can't be that bad can they? Oh, well at least she's finally gonna help me.
She found a pole (Don't question it. Ima jus' say she keeps it for the special cases in the glovebox.) and held it out for me to grab. I reached out my hand and grabbed onto the pole my left hand gripping the floor of the car. I pulled my self up with the help of Miss. Endo who was pulling on her end of the pole. I smiled at her to show my thanks, her frown lessened slightly and her eyes softened a little. She turned away from me and put the pole back in the glove box. (Yes it fits in there! Somehow...) She closed her door and pushed a button which made my door start to close.
Miss. Endo turned, put her key in the car, and grabbed the wheel then pressed down on the gas pedal. The car sped off out of the parking lot. Miss. Endo sighed and started murmuring to herself. "Hey kid, be careful at the orphanage the kids are basically dogs. Nothing against dogs." Endo said, still facing the road. "Why do you call them dogs Miss. Endo?" I questioned. "Well... quirk discrimination. The kids with flashy or ok quirks at the top of the food chain, and the ones that look weird, are dangerous, or weak are bullied, ignored, stolen from, and teased!" She ranted angrily.
"That's so mean! Are they all like that? What about their victims? Are they nice at least?!" I cried out already slightly angry at my fellow orphans. I had an adorable angry face which made Miss. Endo laugh a little before she responded, "Yes they're mostly ok kids." "Why are all the kids like that Miss. Endo?" I asked trying to figure out why anyone would be so mean. "Well the main caretaker, I'm just volunteer, isn't the nicest to people with those kinds of quirks so most of the kids just follow her example." Miss. Endo sighed, then pulled into a parking lot.
She turned to face me, "All I'm saying is... when they learn about your quirk, which'll be really soon, they won't be nice. To be honest I'm scared to touch ya' incase you lose control. Sorry kid, but here you probably won't be 'living your best life' as they say. Just stick with the good kids, alright?" I nodded and she pushed a button that opened my door. I hopped out of the car and onto the cracked pavement. Miss. Endo rounded the car and stood by me. She led me to the front of the building, which I'm guessing is the orphanage. It was a big brick building, really rather sad looking. It could use some glitter... The walls had ivy growing in some places and an overgrown garden under some windows on the right side.
The parking lot was empty except for the car we drove in with and a blue car. (Something or other, another car! You can, once again, choose what kind ssssince I don't know a thing about them!) Miss. Endo walked up to the doors, which had small rectangular windows on the top that were dirty and in dear need of a washing. She walked up and bringing out a key, unlocked the door. She shoved the key in her front pocket before pushing open the door. I followed behind her, slightly weary of the place. Which was reasonable considering what she had told me. I looked around for the other kids but saw none. I reached up to tap Miss. Endo but remembering my quirk and what she had said, decided to cough into my fist to gain her attention.
She turned her head and stopped, "Yes, Eri?" "Uhm, sorry to ask but where are the other kids?" I said fidgeting with the hem of my purple skirt. "Oh! Eri it's 6:56! The ride to and from the station took me awhile. By now the kids should be in bed. This orphanage generally has younger children that don't really stay up late." Miss. Endo explained. That makes sense, I hadn't really noticed it was getting darker. Miss. Endo continued down the hall at a brisk pace and I stumbled over my feet to catch up before she turned a corner.
She opened a door which led to a living room, play room, dining room mix. It was bigger then an average room to hold all three types in one place, but it was a little cramped. A woman sat at one of the tables in the dining area of the room. She had blue hair tied up in a low ponytail and a drink sitting in front of her. She was sipping from the straw when she looked up, having heard the door open. "So this is the new kid?" She said looking me up and down. Her voice seemed harsh, Miss. Endo's was serious, yes, but not threatening.
"Yes, this is her. Her name is Eri Midoriya, Mrs. De Vil" Miss. Endo said just as serious and professional as she was with Sansa. (Anyone remember that name? I was thinking of bad guys yaknow. If you know cool! I jus' thought of a name like this and was like heyyy I know someone with a name like thaaaaat. Call it a reference or whatever! I will give cookies to people who know! :3) She had loosened up when there was only me with her. I looked from Miss. Endo to Mrs. De Vil. Miss. Endo seemed strained and slightly angry at the woman. Mrs. De Vil had a small smirk. "So what's the girls quirk?" Mrs. De Vil's voice startled me from my thoughts.
Miss. Endo seemed hesitant, "As far as we know, her quirk let's her make people disappear but, she needs to be touching them. She hasn't gone to a quirk doctor yet though. She has one scheduled." Miss. Endo said, grimacing at the glare pointed at the sweet child next to her. "Well keep her away from the other kids. We can't have her going on a killing spree. Some of them could end up famous with their quirks." Mrs. De Vil grunted before shooing them away. Miss. Endo hurried out of the room leading me to another door. She pushed it open and led me inside, it had a cot in the corner and a thin blanket with a pillow sitting on it. "This is your temporary room. By tomorrow we'll get you a room with one of the others as your roommate." She told me to sleep well and left the room after making sure I'd gotten in bed. I shivered slightly under the blanket it was to o thin to really keep me warm.
"I'm sure I'll have a great time here!" I said softly into the darkness. I turned onto my side and stared at the wall. I eventually closed my eyes, falling asleep slowly.
'It is going to be my new home for who knows how long...'
Me sitting here looking at the top then at what I wrote: 'Well I'm an idiot.' So yeah I guess the top pic is a spoiler? A trailer of the next chapter? I can't think of the word... But yeah, Toko will be introduced in the next chapter at least. I didn't expect it to get this long without even starting the next day but... Yeah! That's chapter 3 then! I hope you enjoyed! Uhm, Mrs. De Vil yeah remember her? If you need a hint on the reference I give you this: Dogs, a buttload of dogs.
