The 'Date'

Once I got home, I let little Chief out into the garden. I took a seat on the deck chair watching the short German run about through all the small bushes that lived in the garden...

A short while later-as I was about to fall asleep in the sun- I heard Chief bark but it wasn't a 'mom there's an intruder' type of bark. I got up and walked over to where he was and saw both Aphmau and Kawaii Chan trying to hush him up.

"You could have used the front door ya know" I pointed in the direction of the door and the girls just giggled slightly.

"We wanted to try and get in this way since we know that you are usually out in the back with Chief" Aphmau smiled.

"This was all Lady Aphmau Senpai's idea!" Kawaii Chan pointed at the short lord.

"Actually if we are playing the blame game, blame Laurence. I was looking for Garroth to see if he was okay temporarily taking over as lord for a few days since I have a meeting in a couple of days and could be gone for a while, and Laurence wont let me go alone so he is coming along... Then he went and told me he took you for a little horse ride in the woods... and a little birdy" Aphmau started as she looked over at Kawaii Chan signaling that she was the 'little birdy' "Told me about your little coffee date with Ro'meave" She giggled.

"It's not a coffee date though, we are simply just meeting at the café for a coffee or hot chocolate" I said back and both girls raised a brow.

"Kawaii Chan doesn't believe that" The pink girl added in before they both pushed me back into the house and towards the bathroom.

"Whaaaaaaat are you doing?" I stared at them through the bathroom mirror.

"Uh, you're going on a date- you have to look the part, we have Cadenza bringing you a dress and everything" Aphmau smiled and got a little make up brush.

"You are not putting that near my face!" I jumped back trying to get out of her reach. "And you aren't getting me into a dress"

"Come onnnnn, you will have to for your wedding, then you will have cute little babies" She laughed a little as Kawaii Chan sat me in a seat and practically sat on top of me to stop me from moving anywhere.

"Who said I was getting married? or having kids?" I raised a brow an Aph cupped my face to stop it from moving away from her brushes as she lightly applied the makeup.

"I said you would now stop talking and let me concentrate" she said a little quieter than usual. I rolled my eyes and let her get where she wanted to...I can just wash it off anyway...

Aphmau and Kawaii Chan had me practically locked in the Livingroom whilst they kept an eye for Garroth because they didn't trust me at this current moment of time. Okay, the dress I wont really complain about, it's purple, I like purple... but this make up can go rot somewhere. I've been dying to scratch my nose for over an hour but the girls won't let me touch my face at all, like at this point I wont be surprised if they follow me and Garroth so I dont end up wiping away the makeup.

A little while later there was a knock, then Kawaii Chan came running through to me. Darcie Sama's boyfriend is here!" She jumped up and down.

"He isn't my boyfriend, clam down" and as much as them words were true right now, I hope that changes eventually- I mean it's Garroth, what else are you expecting me to think?-

I walked out the living room- well practically shoved out the living room to where Garroth was waiting. He smiled once he saw me and I'm sure I've mentioned it once but ill say it again, THAT DAMN SMILE IS HOT!

"Dresses and make up? its only going to get a coffee, whats with the whole glow up?" He chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"Don't want to get into it, but long story short, Kawaii Chan and Aphmau did it" I shrugged a little.

"Well all I will say is, they did a good job and purple brings out your eyes very well" He added in a slightly husky tone.

"Uh- well thanks" I added before walking trying to keep the blush at bay.

We reached the café, Garroth went to order whatever he wanted along with my hot chocolate he knows I like and I went to take a seat, furthest away from any windows because Irene knows if Kawaii Chan is around making sure I 'behave myself.'

Around 20 minutes later, Garroth came back with the two drinks and set them down before taking a seat himself.

"I ordered us both ice creams and they should be down sometime soon" He said and my entire face lit up, I haven't had an ice cream since I was 7! But to mess about with him I glared softly at him and he looked scared "what did I do?" He asked.

"Ice cream and hot chocolate- are you trying to fatten me up or something?" I raised a brow and Garroth's face dropped.

"No! I wouldn't do such a thing, I just know your usual order because you wont drink coffee and I thought ice cream would have been a nice touch" He panicked a little and that just got me laughing, I tried to keep a straight face but couldn't with that for a reaction.

"Garroth  it's fine I'm messing with you" I smiled and took a sip of the hot chocolate.

Let's say an hour or two passed- Garroth was walking me home because he claims it's the gentleman thing to do but in reality it was because it was getting dark.

"So will I have the chance of seeing you tomorrow M'lady?" He asked and I shrugged.

"Depends on what you have got to do tomorrow, I might spend the day with Chief and the ponies" I responded.

"Then I'll come down and see you" He managed to say before reaching the door to my place.

"I shall leave the door open if you need it" I smiled and he nodded before leaning in and kissing me goodnight.

"Sleep well Darcie" He smirked slightly and I nodded.

"You too"
