I woke up and tuned my eyes, I really didn't want to go to school today. I checked my phone and got an email from school, school was canceled? I got up on my bed and started jumping up and down I was so happy when my mom walked in, way to ruin my morning. I just stand on my bed frozen staring at my mom.
" Good morning Madelyn." She said with a sad face.
"What's wrong morning." Even if she probably loves Dave more then me deep down I still loved her and cared about her.
" You have to move out, Dave doesn't want you here anymore" she said I knew she didn't want this but after the loss of my father she couldn't lose another love but what about me am I not enough love in her life
I stood there with a surprised face.
" What." I said with no expression.
She didn't say anything I'm sure she's ashamed, deep down she wanted me here with her but she just couldn't escape the devil himself Dave.
" Are you serious? You're choosing him over me?"
I said trying to hold back tears
" And DAVE of all people." I said still sad.
"Mom I'm a SOPHOMORE." I yelled
"What do you expect to me to do? Live on the streets?
"Figure it out." She said looking down I can't believe her why would she do this to me her only daughter her only CHILD for gods sake.
"Fine." I said looking very angry and walked to my suitcase that hasn't been unpacked, grabbed it and stormed out the door shoving my mom once I left I could hear her silently cry she deserved it she kicked me out I'm only 16 for gods sake.
I texted Julie and asked if I could sleep at her house she said sure and I walked to her house feeling relieved. I knocked on her door and was crying she opened the door and I ran into her arms crying I was sad really sad my mom was literally dead to me now Julie and Austin are the only ones I have now it honesty sucks not that I am ungrateful of Austin and Julie but I wish I could hug my mom
She showed me to her room I told her I would sleep on the couch but she said she would just put a sleeping bag on the floor and I would sleep on that I said ok
I was chilling in her room on my phone staring at photos of me and my mom I missed her but she chose dave over me she shouldn't miss me at all she's the one who kicked me out after all
I turned off my phone when I heard a knock on the front door I yelled " I'll get it!" And opened the door I though it was my mom or maybe even Dave maybe he changed his mind and he would let me back home but when I opened the door I saw Austin?
