I like Julie? Well I mean it's not that big of deal she is a human after all but I just never thought that I'd be liking a girl but you know it's not a choice it happens naturally I can't control it. I kept debating in my head wether I should tell her or not I mean I don't even know if she likes girls or not. I was thinking about it when Julie walks in.
"Hey Madelyn, you doing okay" she said while coming inside her room she had left me some time to calm down after I probably lost one of my closest friends.
I nodded with a smile and thanked her for everything.
"Oh it's not a big deal anyways I'm gonna play some music anything that you like." She asked with a smile.
"Oh you can just play what you want." I said smiling.
She said ok and simply turned on "girls but girl in red." I knew it she likes girls.
Girl in red was trending at the time because of her unique songs and because of her representing of the lgbtq+ community it was said that anyone that listened to her songs was either gay or very depressed, weird I know you can't really tell over a song preference maybe she just likes the songs but she knew it by heart and that's when I knew she liked girls.
"I'm gonna go buy a few things, you want anything?"
"No." She said shaking her head.
I went outside and walked all the way to the nearest CVS I didn't need much only a few things like essentials that I left at my house, deodorant tooth brush and most importantly chapstick my lips are always dry so I had to carry my chapstick around everywhere but I somehow left it at home. I grabbed the stuff and payed, while I was walking home I saw austin walking home with the picnic basket how long was he there after I left he looked sad but I covered my face and started sprinting home when.
"MADELYN!" Oh boy here it comes
"Hi." I said with an awkward smile.
"Listen I'm sorry I just like you as a friend just a friend sorry Austin." I said.
"It's ok I did meet someone at the park though." He said smiling.
How did he move on THAT quick well it explains why he was there for so long.
"Oh cool what's they're name." I said with a smile.
"Her names Madlyn." He said with a smile.
Of course I was creeped out the girls name was basically the same as mine he's acting like he's over it he isn't.
I said my goodbyes to Austin and walked back home I saw a note on the fridge that said "sorry I had to go do something just go chill in my room I'll be back soon" I went to her room and relaxed for a while when the door rang.
