Chapter 5

He stayed there. Staring at the window almost all night before falling asleep. Falling asleep while looking at the shining white stars that littered the pitch black sky. He fell asleep peacefully for the first time in months. --------------------------- Kageyama woke up the next morning. He looked down at his arm but his I.V was already off. He stood off the wheel chair and went over to his bed to lay down. It wasn't as comfy as his bed back home but it was alright. He laid in his room alone thinking. He was thinking of how much calories that gave him. Thinking of how much weight he gained. He didn't even know because every time he did get weighed they wouldn't let him look. He wanted to go to the bathroom right now and throw up. He wanted to jump out the window right now and die. But he knew he couldn't do either. Tears started to build up in his eyes. He didn't care to hold it in. No one was around so why not cry he thought. He felt alone. He felt hated. He felt disgusting. He let it out and curled up crying. why am I so ugly, why am I so fat, that's why no one likes you, I have to throw up, I wanna die, I hate myself. Loads of thoughts running though is head. Just then there was a knock on the door. Someone opened it and came in. Kageyama froze and stopped crying. The person walked over and shook Kageyama awake slightly. Kageyama sat up but faced the wall. He didn't want them to see him cry. That would make him pathetic. "Kageyama time to get ready ok"? Kageyama knew who it was. He hated her. Her annoying happy voice. It made him angry. He stood up not facing her and left the room. He sat on the chair outside the bathroom and quickly wiped his tears before she came out. She handed him his bag of stuff smiling. He grabbed it and looked away. Sakusa and Atsumu came and sat next to Kageyama as usual. They all got ready and went over the 2nd floor to have breakfast. They grabbed their food and sat at a table. All Kageyama could think about was how much calories were in front of him. He whispered to Atsumu asking him to take it again. "you didn't sneak out with me" Kageyama sighed. "I couldn't they put an I.V in me, annoying". Atsumu laugher and nodded his head. After he ate both their food Atsumu tried to sleep. Sakusa didn't eat but rocked back and forth mumbling words. Kageyama rested his head on his hands and closed him eyes. --- When lunch was over everyone went over to the break room. They sat down on the couch and Kageyama grabbed a book. It was a Harry Potter book. He opened it and started to read. He's never read or watched any but he was rather bored and wanted to. He always heard it was amazing so why not. He got bored after a while and put the book down. Resting his head on the armchair he watched what everyone else was watching. Again it was a disney movie. This time it was frozen 2. Kageyama has never watched that many Disney movies. He focused on volleyball for most of his life. He didn't really care about any other things, especially Disney movies.

Therapy time rolled around and everyone left. Kageyama went over to Dr.Koshi's office and sat down on the chair in front. Someone was probably in there because the door was closed. --------------------------- Thank you!
