Chapter Six: Okay, Party

Cole walked back into the party after a moment processing what just happened. He wasn't mad, just really caught off guard. He didn't think she liked him back.

Cole didn't notice he walked all the way back in till Kai said something to him.

"Yo, what's on your face?" Kai asked as he squinted at him.

"Nothing," Cole said as he quickly rubbed off the kiss mark left by Thorn's lipstick.

"Ooo, I think I know what that is," Kai teased for a moment but then the thought really processed in his head, "Oh shit!"

"Dude, you tell, I burn your hair gel," Cole threatened.

"Ah, not my Garnier Fructis, you leave her out of this!" Kai said as he instinctively covered his hair he spends an hour each day, "Fine, I'll keep your balcony scene a secret."

"Thank god."

"And possibly Nya," Kai went on, "I can't hide a secret from her well."

"Oh god, I'm dead," Cole sighed, "Just don't tell anyone until two days from now at least."

"Ha, no promises," Kai laughed as he walked on.

Cole just grumbled as he joined the party again. The night went on despite the secret lingering in the air. The time soon turned later and the party was still holding on strong and everyone was still having a fun time. There was still dancing and soon someone (Jay) figured out how to use Zane as a karaoke machine and bad singing filled the room. It was fun until a party crasher ruined the party.

Thorn's head was still pounding as she walked back to the party. She could still see the different flashes of memories everytime she closed her eyes, but not of her memories. This wasn't the first head ache she's got but they seem to be getting stronger every year as her senses got stronger. The visions seemed to be getting clearer too so now she knows what the whole tiger dance move incident was about.

Sometimes she wished she wasn't clairvoyant, sometimes she wished she was just normal and had normal headaches. They would have been easier to deal with.

However, Thorn knew exactly how to get the headache to go away and headed to the bathroom for some painkillers.

As she stepped inside her bathroom, Thorn heard a loud bash coming from Garmadon's study.

"What the-?" Thorn mumbled as she downed the two pills.

She placed everything back and shut the door behind her as she walked carefully to the study. The closer she got, the clearer the voices were.

"It's in here, it has to be."

"Well where else would it be?"

"We're going to need that spellbook if we have any chance for the Hunt."

"I know that!"

"Would you shut up."

"Definitely not just my parents," Thorn mumbled as she closed in on the room.

She made a pit stop by the kitchen for a steak knife. Had to grab something before she barged in head first. Thorn gripped the knife in her hand right before she opened the door to five guys rummaging through Garmadon's office.

"You guys are here for the party, huh," Thorn said breaking the silence.

The five guys looked at each other for a moment and then yelled.

"GET HER!"

"Oh shit!" Thorn helped as she got ready for a fight.
