The evening was a bit tense after the fight that the other's could barely make out. All they heard was screaming and a sudden bang. When Misako went to check on Garmadon and Thorn, she found Garmadon alone in the kitchen that looked like a tornado ran through it and Thorn was nowhere to be found. Garmadon didn't explain much to Misako and Lloyd, only that he and Thorn had a small argument about something. But he told Wu what he thought was happening.

"Are you sure," Wu asked.

"I believe I am, darkness swells around her, it always has," Garmadon replied, remembering Thorn as a little girl, "But now I think it is getting the best of her, and I don't know if she can stop herself."

"Okay, we will be here, to help stop her if she succumbed to the darkness." Wu said to his brother.

Thorn had locked herself in her room after the fight, not speaking a word to anyone nor letting anyone in. It was an eerie silence at the house and it was hard for everyone to sleep.

Lloyd laid in his bed, fast asleep and not knowing what was going on that night as no one would tell him. Suddenly, a shadow loomed over him and a soft shake woke him up.

"Hey, Lloyd, wake up," a soft whisper said.

"Whaa-" Lloyd said as he tried to process what was going on but he spoke too loud and a hand covered his mouth.

"Shhhh, I don't have much time," The voice said.

"Thorn? What's going on?" Lloyd said as he leaned up in his bed.

Thorn was dressed ready to leave in her black coat, her hair pulled back, and a bag around her back. Lloyd couldn't see much but he knew that she was afraid.

"Lloyd, I'm sorry I didn't have time to teach you this," Thorn said seriously, "But remember this; don't ever believe what anyone says just because they said so, you are going to have to think for yourself now."

"Thorn what's wrong?" Lloyd asked, knowing that she was scared right now.

"You're... going to hear something about me, something bad but I want you to know I am not what they say I am," Thorn said, "I know that you can look at me in the eye and know the truth."

"What's going to happen?"

"There isn't enough time. You have a power many want and things are only going to get worse, but don't ever just follow along with what anyone says now, okay?"

"Thorn, let me help you," Lloyd begged.

"Please, tell me you understand," Thorn pleaded.

"I... yeah, I understand," Lloyd said, knowing deep down that she was right.

"I'm sorry, I need to go," Thorn hugged him tight, "Don't tell anyone I'm leaving."

Before Lloyd could ask another question, Thorn let go of the embrace and was climbing out the window.

"Thorn, wait, let me help," Lloyd said as he tried to get out of bed but suddenly he felt so tired that he fell right back into his bed in a deep slumber.

Misako walked up to Thorn's door, not for the first time that night, but perhaps this time she would knock on her door. Thorn's room has been dead silent for a while and Misako could hear the argument she had with her father earlier. Misako knew it was one of the worst ones that the family has had. There Misako stood at the door, gathering up the will to check on Thorn.

"Thorn? Thorn it's me," Misako asked softly as she knocked on her door, "Can I come in?"

Misako knocked again, but heard no answer. She turned the knob, half expecting it to be locked, but it turned all the way so she opened the door. The room was too dark to see anything, so she began to walk in.
