The cool air of the night was calm and hid what was going on at the park downtown Ninjago City. It was nearing 2 am and no one doing anything good was out at that time as evident by the two men walking suspiciously through the downtown at night, talking about something vile while being stalked by something vile in the shadows.

"They fail to get the grimoire? We needed that to take over this city from them," The first man argued.

"I know, we all know, there was a hiccup," The second man tried to explain.

"What hiccup? Garmadon fought over the book?" said the first.

"Garmadon doesn't even have the book," The second man corrected.

"Explain?" asked the first.

"From what I could hear from the few that managed to escape, it wasn't anywhere in his house and the whole family was in the other house having a party," The second man explained.

"Then who took out the group?" The first man asked.

"Some witch girl," Shrugged the second.

"But why was a witch at the Garmadon's house?" pondered the first.

"That's what I thought, no one knows who this is, some of us suspect it's that witch from that sword incident a while back." the second replied.

"Whoever she is, she's a witch who knows we're after the grimoire that will kill off her kind." the first man stated, "She may be coming for us with her wretched witch friends."

"Should we prepare HQ for an attack?" The second asked.

"Yes, but keep panic at a low, they still do not know where we are located so it may be a few nights," the first ordered.

"I will prepare the few men we have stationed there right away." the second confirmed.

"By our will, we shall conquer," The first started.

"By his will, we shall win," The second completed and the two parted ways.

The first man still walked downtown, deeper into the night, but felt like he was being followed. He looked behind him and saw no one on the streets but he still did not feel safe. His suspicions were confirmed when suddenly out of a dark alleyway a spider's web shot out at him and quickly dragged him to the dark alleyway. The man struggled to get out of the giant web that felt as strong as steel, the web then dragged him and webbed him to the alleyway wall.

"Show yourself, witch!" Screamed the man

From the shadows, a young lady with glowing white eyes walked out to meet the two. She wore a dark-colored outfit and the only light part of her was her pale blonde hair that had some black streaks. As she walked out of the shadows her eyes stopped glowing and the hunter could see her stormy grey eyes.

"Sorry to disappoint, but it'll be just the one wretched witch tonight," The witch said sarcastically.

"Witch, ADAM!" Yelled one of the men to try to alert the neighborhood to make a scene.

"Shut up, no one is going to hear you," the witch spat as the man looked around him to the magical thorn wall that'll block any sound that would come, "I'm looking for some answers, hunter."

"You won't get anything out of me, witch," The other man spat.

"Is that a challenge?" the witch smirked.

The man grew nervous, witches don't tend to pull witch hunters out like this. Their war against each other has been a silent game of shadows, they haven't hunted out in the broad open like this in decades.
