Fated to be Together

"Hey Mandy. I'm hommee. And look who I brought with me.", Lisa said as she entered the apartment. Amanda looked up form the book she was reading and froze up as she saw who Lisa had brought home with her. Brian. It was Brian. Lisa had brought Brian. She was gonna kill her, she resolved as he swore under her breath and shot Lisa a dirty look.

"Well Brian and ai just happened to have the same class and we got talking... about things which made him want to talk to you. So I invited him over!", Lisa proudly said. A million possibilities of what Lisa could have said to Brain ran through her mind. Amanda resolved to give Lisa a piece of her mind later. Suddenly a horrid thought crossed her mind. Could she have told Brian about her crush on him? Did he come here to reject her?

Putting aside these thoughts, she forced on a smile. "Oh. Hi Brian. Didn't expect this. Haha...", she trailed off awkwardly as she shot Lisa a death glare. "Oh yeah. What a coincidence that I should meet Lisa in class huh? Anyways, I wanted to talk to you about something.", Brian said. "Yeah, what is it?"

"Well I'm just gonna go freshen up and give you guys some privacy. Byeee~~", Lisa said as she hopped off to her room.

"Well, you wanted to talk to me? About what?", Amanda looked up at Brian expectantly. "Well, it's about what Lisa told me.." Brian trailed of nervously witha hint of blush forming on his cheeks.

"Yeah?", Amanda sid nervously.

"Ummm. Well, I don't know if it's true but she said that you like me? That you have like me since that trip?", Brian blurted out. Upin hearing that, Amanda turned into a tomato. She could feel the heat radiating from her face and wished she could have melted into a puddle. "Ummm. Yeah. I mean, I don't expect anything from you. But you know. Like that's how I feel. But don't feel burdened. It's totally okay if you don't like me back. Do you feel uncomfortable? You must feel uncomfortable. I promise I will work on getting over this crush. I know you don't like me. Oh my god. I'm so sorry. She should not have told you. I'm so stupid. I'm....."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm down for a second would you?", Brian chuckeld as he put his hands on her shoulders to calm her down. "And you don't need to be sorry. Don't een think about getting over that crush. Because I like you too. Like a lot."

"I know. I'm so sorry...... Wait what? You like me? Really?", Amanda asked hopefully.

"Yes. I've liked you since that trip. I was stupid enough to not get your number then and I could not find you on any social media."

"Haha. Yeahhh. I'm not really active on social media."

"Anyway, when I saw you yesterday, I thought I was dreaming. I couldn't believe you were in front of me. And we go to the same college. And today I met Lisa who told me that you liked me too. It was like destiny. Like we were fated to be together. So Amanda, would you give me pleasure of being your boyfriend?", Brian asked nervously.

"Oh my god yes!" Amanda replied as Brian pulled her into a kiss that made her heart melt away.

"Ahem ahem, look what we have here", Lisa said as she enterd the room breaking them apart. "Looks like things like destiny, love, fate really do does exist huh?", she said slyly while wriggling her eyebrows at the new couple.

"Uh huh.", Amanda smiled back at her. "And we are fated to be together."
