« I need help. »

Steve unlocked the door and let Tony go inside first, as Tony walked inside he glanced back at Steve and smiled. Steve's heart jumped, and he ran his hand trough his hair once more before closing the door and locking it. Tony looked around the apartment, and he thought it was really cute. Despite it being pretty small he saw that they had decorated the apartment to make it look expensive and bigger than it was, Tony was a big fan of it and would rather live in an apartment like this than the big mansion he lives in.

"Nice place you got, Rogers." Tony said as he looked around. Steve shrugged and agreed, he liked this place. His mom was great at decorating, that included the apartment they lived in before this one. She was a big fan of greenery as well, so there were plenty of that.

Steve didn't know how long Tony had been sitting out there, and Steve was still not sure why he even wanted to visit him out of everyone he knew. All he knew was that he couldn't go to Rhodey's place, he told him that Rhodey knew about the palladium poisoning and had reacted harshly to it. Though he really cared about Tony, he understood why Rhodey had reacted the way he did. Especially since they were friends and when Tony said he still wouldn't tell anyone. Steve agreed with Tony's friend, he should tell his friends. But both Rhodey and Steve had way to much respect for Tony to ever take away his decision to remain silent, for now.

Steve looked at Tony while he thought of the mess Tony had put himself in, and the involuntary mess he had been put in by someone else. Steve's look was wistful, something Tony didn't notice while wandering around to get a view of everything. He felt Steve looking at him, but he wasn't aware of how Steve was looking at him. It was a mix between woe and adoration. Steve shook his head so that he would stop staring, following Tony as he peeked inside the living room.

"Do..." Steve began, wringing his hands and compulsively running his hands through his hair. It still didn't want to move in a way Steve wanted it to, it was almost flat on his head. Tony turned to him once he heard him speak. "Do you w— want something to eat? I mean... if you've already eaten th— then it's fine. I— it was just a suggestion."

Tony chuckled and shook his head, "I've eaten today," Tony began. Intending for Steve to hear that part clearly, the next part he said quietly. He didn't care, however, if Steve were to hear him. "Food, at least." And Steve did hear him. He looked to the floor, his eyes bugging out as his heart was pounding in his chest. As if it wanted to escape the rib cage and jump into Tony's embrace. Metaphorically very beautiful, literally... pretty gross. Tony's lips pulled to his right, forming into a smirk. He had gotten a feeling, and heard from Bruce, the he made Steve nervous and Tony had been with enough people to notice when someone liked him. He was sure it was nothing else. But he liked fucking with people that he knew liked him, and Steve was no exception.

Tony pointed to a room at the end of a hallway, which door was wide open. "That your room?" He asked. Steve nodded, Tony did the same towards the room basically to ask permission to look at it. Steve followed Tony into his room and saw the boy looking around. As Tony closed in towards his desk Steve thought he'd start sweating from the nerves, the picture he'd drawn of Tony was on the top of all of his papers and the general mess on the desk. And he had a strong urge to push past Tony and snatch the picture away from the desk, and nothing was really stopping him. At the time Tony was too focused on the small paintings on the shelf above it, he hadn't looked down yet. Luckily. Steve hurried past Tony and took the drawing, when Tony looked at Steve he casually leaned against the desk, crossing his arms across his chest with the drawing in his right hand.
