All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream
-Edgar Allan Poe-CHAPTER 7
After we are out of sight, I started to struggle "Prince Cesar please, I am begging you, please let me go! You don't have to do this. I know we are engaged, but we are only engaged in name. You are only my fiancé because you suggested me to climb the tree to escape my princess training. It was four years ago. The scars have faded, and it was only a childhood mistake. We can annul the engagement and go on our separate ways peacefully" I whined, trying to reason with him while flailing my arms and legs like a kid throwing a tantrum. "No" Prince Cesar said firmly. I am waiting for him to elaborate why but he didn't. And just like that, silence quickly filled in the gap between us with only the sound of his footsteps.
Now that I can see his face up close, this guy, is really my type. He has long lashes, his lips is frowning for some reason. He has high bridge nose and- "if you keep staring at me like that princess, I'll turn to dust soon".
Fuck. I quickly averted my eyes. I can feel my face heating up. "Well let me go then!"
"Okay then princess" he said in a mocking tone, he puts me down on the carriage seat, before sitting on the seat in front of mine.
"Hey! What are you doing?" I looked at him with wide eyes. Unbelievable. This person. Can anyone be this shameless?
"Bring us back to the castle" He informed my chaperone from the carriage's window. Ugh. Whatever. Nothing will stop him now. This is going to be a fucking long ride.
I hear the sound of horse feet, galloping into the night, bringing us further away from Prince Zachary's majestic castle. There is silence between us. I refuse to look at him. I think I suffer enough embarrassment for today. I'm scared that I'll unconsciously stare at his face again.
For some reason, even though we have never met before, I can feel a sense of Deja vu. As if I have known him before. Of course, this may be because the previous owner of the body recognizes him. Life is a mystery.
I do feel his gaze on me as I resorted to just look out the window. This is awkward. I was so tired today that i didn't even realized that I have fallen asleep.

I felt like I was flying. This is nice. I snuggled closer to source of warmth and sigh happily. I heard soft murmurs, but I am too sleepy to care right now. Then I felt a soft surface underneath me and curled up close to the source of warmth. Soon after, I fell into a deep sleep.

Where am I? I wondered. As I wonder around in the woods, I saw a tall figure with platinum blonde hair and green eyes, staring at a woman with black hair and violet eyes. Both of them are holding hands and is looking at each other lovingly. Then suddenly, the scene changes, blood. Blood everywhere. Smokes and fire can be seen inside the castle's hallway. The castle looks familiar to me but I can't really put my finger on it.
In the center of it all is a woman with black ink hair with her eyes are closed. Panicking, thinking someone is about to die, I ran to her and kneel beside her. Upon closer inspection, I saw that it is Viola's face. Her delicate face has trails of tears on them and her eyes are swollen from crying too much. Oh fuck, is this how I am going to die? Why do I have to be reborn into a novel just to die again. Whoever is responsible must have a sick sense of humor.
With my sweaty hands, I grabbed her hand and try to find her pulse. "Hey! Wake up! Can you hear me! I'm going to help you out of here!" I shouted, shaking her shoulders in a futile attempt to get to open her eyes. What am I going to do now?
But then I heard someone, a woman's laughter. Not the kind of laughter that you find endearing or from the feeling of happiness. It sounds sinister. The kind of laughter you hear in movies from the villain of the story. I am so terrified that I started to run further away from the laughter. The hair in my neck stood up, and I start to feel myself break into a cold sweat.
Then, I woke up gasping, with my hand on my chest. What the hell is that? Calm down Jessie, calm down! It is just a dream. Take a deep breath! I inhale a huge breath of air and slowly exhale.
This is the first time I have ever had a dream like that. I mean, of course, I had my fair share of nightmares but, nothing this real. It feels like, it really happens.
"Sweetheart, go back to sleep" a deep husky voice can be heard next to me, and the huge figure pulls me back close to him. I relaxed myself a bit until I realized that my dad is on an expedition again. Other than me and the castle staffs, no one is here. Fuck.
I was so shocked that I didn't realize that I am at the edge of the bed and fell down with a huge thud. "Princess?" I look up and see a man, his platinum blonde hair looks disheveled, an angel. If I didn't know any better, I would never guess that he would be a villain later on down the road. Life sure is strange. One minute you are drowning and the next, you find yourself trapped with your unwanted fiancé who for some reason, will not leave you alone.
He looked like he is on high alert until he realized that I just fell from the bed. I have to admit, despite knowing how he will be a villain in the end, and how I (maybe? Possibly?) Die by his hands, I cannot help feeling attracted to him. He is wearing a black robe with his chest exposed. His abs though. Oh My God, Jessie stop it! You are not a pervert!
"Come here, it's too early" he reached out and pull me back to my bed. I have no more energy so I let him do so. I was too tired to think clearly, and after that dream, I don't want to be alone. I'll just kick him out and be angry tomorrow. Right now, sleep is priority. I unconsciously snuggled closer and fall into a deep dreamless slumber.
