CHAPTER 5 - Drowning

Months had past and Golden Dawn was earning more stars at a very fast pace. Julius Novachrono has took notice of this and he decided to talk to the captain.

You on the other hand, was also called by the Wizard King. You were excited to see the father figure and so, you barged into his office without a care in the world.

"Juliussssss!" You exclaimed, still oblivious to the fact that your captain was there. He was baffled at your actions towards the most feared and respected man on the whole Clover Kingdom.

You decided to open your eyes and fell down from surprise. Your captain was there. The Wizard King only laughed at your actions and greeted you.

"You're still the same as ever, (Y/n)"

You stood up and dusted your cloak as you coughed, "I'm sorry for my rude and informal behaviour". You walked near where the Wizard King and the captain were.

"I've been seeing Golden Dawn's progress and I would like you to take a break. You should go to the beach and relax" He said and you furrowed your eyebrows.

Naturally, a Magic Knight won't take breaks. It was their duty to excel and help people in dire situations. You thought that there must be something more to it than just a break.

"There's something more to it." You stated as a matter of fact. Julius Novachrono smiled at your fast thinking ability and comprehension.

"Indeed, Mages had been pinpointing where the Relics were and our guess is that it's on Raque" Julius informed.

"It would be a shame if you don't enjoy your time there. Please bring atleast 3 member for this. This must be kept a secret" The Wizard King continued.

Both of you saluted and walked away. You were walking by the captain and it didn't even bother you. You two have become friends over the time you've spent with him.

"Captain, who will be joining the mission?" You asked in curiousity.

"Since the Wizard King had both informed us on this, then it would only be natural if we both came along. I'll be taking Alecdora aswell" He stated in his usual friendly but prideful tone.

"So the artifacts still exists . It was used by the First Wizard King, was it not?" You pointed out, leaving your captain to nod in response.

"But I'm afraid I still haven't recovered all my mana since the incident..." you whispered and played with your fingers.

You were now standing at the well known beach named Raque. They say that Raque was also a pathway to the Seabed Temple but that wasn't your mission, you were intrigued nonetheless.

"Is it really okay for the Captain and Vice Captain to be here?" You pointed out, worried about the members who were left behind.

"How dare you question the Captain's choices? He knows what's best" the green haired member sternly said.

"Well of course, Golden Dawn has members of royalty and greatness but ofcourse peasants like you wouldn't understand that at all" Langris stated, continuing on humiliating you.
