"It shouldn't be very hard avoiding captain , right?" You asked yourself .
"He's always occupied with the squad , right?" You keep reassuring yourself .
You went out to the banquet hall of the base and got food . You saw Captain Vangeance as he smiled at you . You pretended to not see and went to talk to a random member .
You quickly finished eating and you were at the halls , quickly returning to your room . Unfortunately , your name had been called out .
"(Y/n) , I need to speak with you—" he was caught of by your sudden reaction.
"Ah I'm sorry captain! I am in a hurry , can we please talk later?" You said and left on a hurry , not bothering to let him talk . You settled on your room and thought, 'This might be harder than I anticipated'
You heard a knock on the door and you answered it . You were relieved that it wasn't the captain .
"The Wizard King has requested to see you" You nodded at the Mimosa and smiled .
"Understood . Thankyou Mimosa!"

You knocked and opened the double doors . You were greeted with the smiling face of Julius Novachrono alongside your captain .
'Great' you thought sarcastically.
"What's the urgency , Lord Julius?" You asked and he looked at you suspiciously and asked, "Since when did you call me so formally , (Y/n)?" He asked and you awkwardly laughed .
"A habit when I was disguised as Von?" You said unsurely .
"I see . I have a mission for both of you . A town reported that their people went missing . Investigate this and bring the people back" The Wizard King informed .
"I'll be giving you the coordinates and take your time to work this through" You and the captain saluted at his orders .

"This is the town , it's fairly big" You said aloud . You remembered that it was Captain Vangeance you're with . You wanted to avoid him so you set out a course of action.
"I think it's best to split up and search for clues" you suggested . He kept walking , thinking of a plan of his own .
"I don't think it would be very wise . People were missing and there's a chance that we might lose each other in the process" He voiced out his thoughts .
"It's faster this way , Captain . We shouldn't be wasting time or else all of the people will disappear before we even know it" You argued . His lips straightened at you words .
"You're avoiding me , are you not?" He suddenly blurted out . You looked at him , shocked .
"I—" You tried to voice out but he cut you off .
"Let's have it your way , I'll investigate on North and East . You'll be going to the opposite direction" He ordered while briskly walking away .
