"Thank God we only have two more days until we graduate from this hell hole," said Jennifer.

"Yeah but the sad part is we might not see each other anymore," I said.

"Oh, don't worry about that Tiara. We'll always have like a reunion one of these days," she said.

"Yeah, true. Anyways I'll see you later. I need to head back to class," I said as Ms. Lukk called my class to line up.

Oh, great reading class is next. I hate reading class so much. The only reason is because of Ms. Lukk herself. She takes off points from students for no reason sometimes. Like when a student is not sitting correctly, she takes off points because supposedly we are off task. And whenever she finds a post-it on the floor she suspects someone was passing notes even when she knows that we use the post-its for our books. Also, she makes a big ass lecture about how to pass papers in class. Is she expecting an award for big ass lecture? Because if she is, then I think she's won more than one award.

During class, I'm not even paying attention to what we're supposed to write down on our notes, because all I'm focused on is graduation. What are we going to do after graduation? Are we going to do something special? Is Jonathan gonna be there? All of a sudden I'm interrupted when Ms. Lukk starts to say my name.

"Tiara! Tiara! TIARA!" Ms. Lukk said.

"Um, yes," I say.

"Did you hear the question that I just asked you?" Ms. Lukk says while never letting go of her threatening gaze.

"No, I didn't," I say.

"Would you like to explain to the class why you didn't hear my question?" She asks.

Shit, are you serious. Now everyone's staring at me. Thanks a lot Ms. Lukk.

"Well, I was catching up on my notes," I said.

"If you were catching up on your notes then how come you weren't staring down at your paper," she says.

My eyes start pacing around the room.
Come on think, Tiara. Think! My subconscious yells at me.

"Well, come on. We don't have all day, Tiara. We have learning to do," she says.

"It's because I was thinking about today's lunch," I said.

That was the best I could come up with.

"Well first take off ten points for being off task and second please bring your pencil and notes to this empty chair," I said.

Are you serious! Anyways I took off the points and made my way to the empty chair.

As I sat down Ms. Lukk whispered,"Now you won't be thinking about food too much." She smiled her evil grin.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP" my subconscious yells at her. I smile as she says that. I wish I could yell that to Ms. Lukk's face.
