The kids had matured fully (well, depends on what your definition of mature is) , their powers were stronger, but also under control a lot better than before. At the present time, the ninja were doing some training with the younger teens who were both standing back to back.
"Your new body is a fighting instrument. Listen to it" Wu's voice was heard from the sidelines as he spoke to the two in the centre of the room.

The two, still having not told the others about the new ability their bond has given them, smirked at their opponents as they stanced themselves.
The others started to attack, but were unable to hit their targets as they dodged every incoming blow, communicating to each other as they did so.

Lloyd's warning was quick enough to get the two ninjas down to the ground, dodging Zane's shurikans which hit a watermelon that Nya was carrying.
Nya glared at Zane who smiled sheepishly, and sighed, "Since they've grown, they're learning faster, Sensei"
Wu nodded and looked back to them, "But will it be enough to challenge Lord Garmadon? Only time will tell"
Kai drew his sword and although Lloyd blocked it, he didn't stop the attack and fell down as Kai pulled his sword away. Y/n jumped over his fallen body and kicked him as she did so, forcing him backwards to hit the wall.
Kai got up and laughed lightheartedly, "Hahaha, you're getting pretty good, but that move you fell for Lloyd, was basic 101"
Lloyd brushed himself off and stood up, "Yeah, if I had focused more when I was little, I would've seen that coming"
Y/n grinned as she tightened her ponytail, "Yeah, more focusing instead of complaining would have helped" She cackled as her friend threw a light punch to her arm.
Wu smiled at him, standing up and walking to the young man, "We cannot change the past, but we can improve for the future. Again, and this time, do not hold back"
Before they could get started on another round of training, Zane's falcon screeched and flew around the bounty.
"It's the birb!" Y/n gasped as she stuck her head out the window. The group started running towards the upper deck, where the falcon circled them. Y/n waved to it excitedly and held out an arm out for it to land on. However the bird went past her and landed on Zane instead,causing her to pout as Lloyd snorted and put a hand on her shoulder.
