*huff huff*
A sound of panting and running footsteps can be heard in the vast wasteland, A raging fire burning in the distance, Screams echoing with souls being harvested by a black smoking figure laughing with glee and pleasure as it mowed down every single living creature feasting on their souls to satisfy its never ending hunger.
Hephaestus a God, The King of all blacksmiths, Can be seen running as fast as his crippled legs can go. His power now non-existent, turned mortal. He now bleeds red. Perfect. Just perfect. Hephaestus kept on running and running unable to use his Godlike powers to aid him on his marathon.
"Hes a monster! A Monster!" He cried in desperate plea, Hoping that someone would see him running, Hoping that Zeus or any other God would see him and aid him. He was missing an arm and his legs more crippled than ever.
He fought with Kcaz just no more than an hour ago. Yet he was reduced to this state. No manner of being can resist the power of the Divine flames. Yet he, Kcaz, Just stood there laughing while being enveloped in the flames. His speed was also unnatural for Hephaestus, Before he could even blink or move that man would appear behind him and pinch him. He was toying with me, Hephaestus thought.
"His laugh..HIS LAUGH STILL RINGS IN MY EAR!!!!" Hephaestus screamed out into the havens. "My, my, What a disgrace you have become Hephaestus." A familiar soft but chilling voice said. "Hades!" Hephaestus was glad to see another God with him there. Did he come to save me? Hephaestus thought.
But...
"-wait, What do you mean a disgrace? Help me Hades! We must warn-" Hephaestus stopped mid sentence. Something was wrong with Hades. He was enveloped with the same black smoke that-- that thing was emitting. Hades was just standing there, smiling, His eyes transfixed on the red blood that was dripping from Hephaestus' face.
"What have you done?" Hephaestus asked Hades. "I?... I didn't do anything Hephaestus. Rather i was just admiring the beauty of your failure." Hades replied with a cold grin.
"What do you mean? YOU ALLIED YOURSELF WITH THAT MONSTER?!"
"No i did not... You see i never agreed to this arrangement. Zeus and all the other Olympians are fools. They are breaking the rules of Chaos himself. When Chaos made Gaia, he made sure to put a barrier around the whole world. To prevent that worm from eating us all. But now... you and the others have made a wormhole to another world. I don't know what your goal is. But 'He' gave me protection." Hades said while stroking the black smoke. It's solid?, Hephaestus thought to himself.
"WHY?! HES A MONSTER HADES! A WOLF WHO DEVOURS ALL!!" Hephaestus screamed at the top of his lungs while staring at Hades with --
"Disgust. You all... Always look at me with disgust." Hades said with anger... and, somehow, pain, Etched in his eyes.
"Now the time of punishment has come. The two of the most powerful horsemen of the apocalypse is here and you cant do anything about it."
"Two? You mean there's two of them here?!" Hephaestus asked Hades in a frightened voice.
"Yes. The one you fought was the horseman of war. The other, Is Death"
Suddenly everything turned upside down for Hephaestus. Both mentally and physically. "Blood for the Blood god. You must give your offerings Hephaestus"
Kcaz. 'How long has he been here?' Hephaestus thought. "Oh I've been here the whole time young God." Kcaz said with a sneer and a laugh. "Y-You can hear my thoughts?"
"HAHAHA--No... I just guessed." Kcaz said playfully.
Kcaz isn't bound by the rules of reality. Everything can be turned into a plaything for Kcaz. Even God's and Devil's. Only one Person can control him. I am talking about me, Zack, Of course. He's afraid of me.
*Crack*
The sound of bones snapping and flesh twisting fills the air as screams echo down into the belly of the beast that swallowed his soul. Hephaestus was no more. Hades took one look at Kcaz and bowed, His head touching the grounds surface and his body in the form of full submission.
"This foolish God pays respect to the eater." Hades spoke with respect. His voice is not filled with fear or hatred. This got Kcaz curious.
"How is it... That Hephaestus didn't know me yet you, Hades, Know of me and Zack's existence." Kcaz asked Hades, Looking down at this pitiful figure known as the God of the underworld while underneath Kcaz's feet was the corpse of what used to be the God of blacksmiths.
"I am the Ruler of Tartarus, The Only place where Chaos, the maker of Gaia, Often visits. He warns me of Beings more powerful than us Titans and Gods." Hades replied, Sweat trickling down the side of his face, His eyes closed. Not daring to look at the beast in the eyes.
Hades could feel the cold slowly drifting away. He could hear laughter. "Yes, I know him. I was watching him make Gaia. He really liked them curvy." Kcaz's voice was a bit distant. That means that he was walking away. Yet Hades remained still. Not daring to move.
Hades could see a bright green light through his closed eyes. It was accompanied Screams. Then it stopped. It was now replaced with the sound of hammering and... 'voices?'
"Hades. Get up. A king should never grovel on the ground." A distant voice said.
Hades got up and looked around. The town was now back. There were no signs of the previous carnage. And the townsfolk were back, Alive and well. It looks as though they don't remember, That the man posing as their saviour killed them all, along with a God.
Hades looked at Kcaz. He was talking with the oldest of the townsfolk ushering instructions.
Hades knew that he was spared. Thankful, and without another word, Hades disappeared back into the underworld. Waiting for the end of times. Waiting for the sound of thunder that was about to befall this world.
Waiting for the inevitable battle that was about to occur.
