After her last encounter with Bakugou, Akane remembered to get his number before she left him. The two of them texted a lot, and it surprised the girl just how happy it made her to get a message from him.
With the knowledge of her number came the rest of Bakugou's friends asking for her number, too. She now had everyone's numbers, and was included in a group chat called "Bakusquad".
One Friday afternoon, Mina texted Akane to meet her and the others at an arcade that night. Akane was excited. She was finally going to get to see Bakugou again, and hang out with the people she now called her friends, even if most of their reactions the past few weeks had been limited to texts and calls.
Akane didn't recognize the place that she was supposed to meet the others at, but she spotted Mina waiting outside for her when she arrived. The girls greeted each other and Mina pulled the lavender haired girl with her inside, where they met the others.
Bakugou was surprised to see Akane at the arcade. He initially didn't even want to come. He'd been exhausted from all of the extra training he'd been forcing himself through, and he wanted to relax in his dorm, but when he saw her, he was glad he came. She sent him a huge smile when she saw him, obviously excited to see him.
"Okay, what do you guys want to do first?" Mina asked the group. When everyone said something different, her shoulders dropped. "Guess we're splitting up then?"
"Come on." Bakugou told Akane, wrapping his fingers around her slender wrist, and pulling her from the rest.
"No fair, Kacchan! You can't hog her!" The two heard Kaminari call to them as they walked away. Bakugou sent him the middle finger without looking back.
"Kacchan." Akane muttered after hearing Kaminari, "That's cute."
"Shut up." He said, pulling her farther into the maze of games.
"So, what do you wanna do first?" She asked.
"Dunno." He shrugged, "Whatever you want.""Whatever you want." She mocked, finding his carelessness funny.
"I didn't even want to come today, so I don't care what you pick, alright?" He tells her, annoyed.
"You didn't?" She asked. She didn't show it, but his words hurt her. Did he not want to see you?
"Well, at first, yeah." He said, hoping that it would ease her mind. He was happy that she was there, but there was no way he'd actually show it. Instead of pushing it further, Akane pulled on his arm once she spotted skee-ball.
"Let's do this." She told him, and he nodded at her. He watched as she put the coin into the machine. She picked up a ball, passing it between both of her hands before turning to bakugou and smirking.
"What the hell are you waiting for?" Bakugou asked. She shrugged.
"I don't know. Wanna teach me how to play?" She asked, watching has his brows furrowed in confusion.
"How do you not know how to play? It's-" He stopped speaking when Akane pulled him closer, standing in front of him, and pulling his arm to guide her own. His face burned bright red, and he was relieved that she was in front of him and couldn't see. She could feel him shake, as his hand wrapped around her own, pulling her arm back to throw the ball. When she released the ball, it only made it to the number ten hole."You suck at this." She told him, turning to look at him.
"Me? You're the one who threw it, dumbass!" He said.
"Hm. I bet I can beat you at this." She teased.
"Yeah right." He said, already moving to put a coin in the machine next to her's, "You're going down, bitch."
