Confrontations

Virgil was locked up in in his room for days. He only came out for food and water..at night..when everyone else was asleep. He groaned and looked at his phone for the time, '12:00 AM..nobody should be awake right? ....right?" He got up and walked out his room, forgetting to lock it behind him. He slowly crept towards the kitchen and sighed of relief when he got there.

Meanwhile Princey was in his room as well. He had thought for a while and finally figured out Virgil's routine, he slept through 7:00 AM to 10:00 pm and walked around the house through 11:00 pm to 5 am and then snuck out to the imagination for a whole hour before returning. "What is up with the creepy cookie.." He said as he left his room in his red silky PJs. Roman looked around the corner and and saw Virgil quietly leave his room. He smiled slightly and waited for Virgil to be completely out of sight.

Roman smirked and tiptoes to Virgils room. He gently opened the door, sighing in relief when he figured out it was unlocked. He walked in and looked around at the room he's been in several times. Except this time, it was a total mess. Virgil's desk was filled with crumpled up papers and pens. His bed was a mess too, he had 10 plush animals in one corner of the bed, and one pillow literally had a circle that was wet.

"He's been crying..recently too, it's still wet." Roman said to himself quietly. He felt himself tear up but ignored it. "My poor Virgil is suffering." He said quickly. He sat down at the desk and uncrumpled the papers. He read the words that had been sloppily written.

He noticed a few puddles of wet tears on the paper and sighed. The paper said 'Roman loves me! He loves me. He said it himself. So my hanahaki is gone. I should be happy. Why aren't I happy? I should be happy. I love him, I love him so much. And I DO want to have a romantic relationship with him but..what if he gets disappointed? What if I do something wrong? What if I accidentally make him upset and he falls in love with someone else? Then I'll have hanahaki again? Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. I cant do this shit. I can't handle this. I'll just hide away as long as I can. If I can't duck out like I used to I'll just hide away and do my work at night in my room while everyone else is asleep. That way no one will have to deal with me but I'll still protect Thomas."

And that's it. That's all it said. Roman was full on sobbing now. He ran out the room and dried his tears. He walked towards the kitchen and saw Virgil eating a sandwich. Virgil was in an oversized red sweater and in some leggings. His eyes had really dark bags and he wasn't even wearing makeup. Roman walked up to the fridge and acted like nothing happened.

Virgil froze and glanced at Roman, who glanced back. The both blushed and looked down. Virgil continued to eat his sandwich and Roman continued to look into the fridge.

After a bit, Roman sighed and walked over to the counter, where Virgil was. "Virgil..why have you been sneaking out into the imagination?" He asked quietly. Virgil looked shocked before scoffing, "Well why were you in my room" Virgil said, rolling his eyes. Princey started to get upset, "Why are you avoiding us?"

Virgil faltered but then quickly regained his posture, "Why are you so annoying at times?" Roman fired back, "Why are you so negative all the time?" Virgil chuckled, but he didn't seem happy. "Why are you so fucking nosy?" Roman looked shocked but stood his ground, "Why do you think I don't care about you?" Virgil teared up but rolled his eyes, "WHY DON'T YOU FUCKING REALIZE THAT INTERROGATING ME ISN'T GONNA HELP?!" Virgil yelled, full on crying now.

The princely side wanted to apologize and hug the crying one but was too angry to. "WELL WHY DON'T YO-" Roman was cut off by Virgil yelling but quieter, "Why do you love me?!" He choked out between tears. Roman fell silent. Virgil tried to run out the kitchen before the taller on stopped him and hugged him as they fell to their knees. Virgil cried into the taller ones shoulder and wrapped his arm aroubd his neck. After a bit the both of them calmed down and stopped crying. Roman spoke up, "Virgil, I love you because I just do. You're adorable and snarky and just perfect," Roman smiled and kissed Virgil softly before picking him up and carrying him to his room.

Virgil smiled and fell asleep in Roman's arms. Roman walked over to his room and opened the red door. He walked in and gently placed the small side onto the giant red bed. Virgil smile in his sleep and snored softly. Roman chuckled and kissed his forehead. He didn't know if they were boyfriends or not but he was happy that they knew they both loved each other. He lied down next to Virgil and hugged him.

In the morning, Patton had walked into Roman's room to wake him up but was pleasantly surprised to see Virgil and Roman cuddling. He silently squealed and left the room, closing the door behind him.

Virgil didn't want to move too fast so they weren't exactly boyfriends yet but they kissed and cuddles and went on dates. So they were getting there. Roman was just happy Virgil was happy. All the sides had a nice triple date, having a movie marathon. Patton and Logan were cuddling with a dark blue blanket covering them. Virgil and Roman were cuddling with a red blanket over them and so on. They all watched Disney movies until they fell asleep.

They got their happy ending. Sure they would have more ups and downs but at this very moment, everything was perfect. Everything was happy, calm.

"THEY'RE GONNA FUCKKKKKKK!!" Remus screeched as two characters kissed on the TV screen. Everyone groaned and threw pillows at Remus.

Well..not entirely calm.
