Three On One Battle with Team Skull

"Hey what's happenin here? Why you two in the way?!" Rapp, the girl, yelled.
The first one, Tupp, got off the bike and walked up to me and my Pokémon, trying to act dangerous. Obviously he recognized who I was and he was a little afraid from the Necrozma incident.
Steven was a new guy here and he didn't know much about those three. Meaning he had no idea why they were yelling at us right now. Just pointless. Dude, park your bikes somewhere else what the heck.
"Not so nice to see you three again," I rolled my eyes.
"Back for more?" Tupp spat.
"No obviously you are."
Oof, nice one. Steven hid the face he was making and I smiled, mentally patting myself on the back. Amy one, random bikers zero.
"When did you bring newbies here? Obviously they don't know what's comin' at them from behind!" Zipp shouted.
"Now why are you in the way? Get outta here and let us through already," Tupp got at me in the face and I growled back.
Steven's hand gently went from my shoulder down to my arm and he got infront of me. I gave him a look and he nodded.
"The only one in they way is you," Steven's calm voice had a steely edge to it like he was trying to scare him.
Oof, Steven gains a bonus point.
"O-Oh yeah?" Tupp was trying to be strong, standing straight and getting high enough to reach Steven's face, "One battle! All three of us against you. What do you think?"
"THREE AGAINST TWO?!" Iris screamed, "SO UNFAIR!"
"Nobody asked you girlie," Zipp snarled, "Let's get this thing over with already."
I stood beside Steven but he swiftly knelt down and whispered: "I'll handle this."
"Alone?!" I asked.
"I'll be fine. Rowlet has been doing some training," he shrugged and I uneasily got out of the way.
Lucario was growling, Emolga was sparking, Sceptile and Swampert pounded the ground and Houndoom's mouth smoldered uneasily. Zeraora looked like it might attack any minute.
I have no idea how but I knew Steven can pull off that Z Move.
Right here, right now.
"Okay Salandit! Come on out!" Tupp yelled.
"Alright Garbordor! Let's go!" Zipp shouted.
"Out on the field Zubat!" Rapp said.
Three Pokémon against a Rowlet are not good odds. But Steven has his Metagross tucked safe in his pocket. And if things get ugly, they'll have to answer to his Partner Pokémon. Which is a Steel Type:
Meaning poison can not affect it and that's what they all are. Poison types.
"Right Rowlet, got some rest?" Steven asked.
It started to close its eyes but immediately shook its head and spread its wings with an angry hoot.
"Then I choose you!" Steven called out.
This Rowlet withstood many. And it might just live this one through. Cilan took in a sharp breath and Pansage patted him on the head to calm him down.
"Okay Zubat use Bite!"
"Salandit use Venoshock!"
"Now Garbordor! Use Sludge Bomb!"
Now that is what I call an unholy trio. The three moves were headed right at Rowlet and I had no idea what Steven was waiting for.
"Now Rowlet," he said shadily, reminding me of Gladion, "Use Leafage on Garbordor's Sludge Bomb and stop it then use Tackle above you."
Rowlet took flight and flung Leafage at Garbordor's Bombs, blasting them away, Venoshock missed since Rowlet used Tackle and flew high, slamming Zubat with a powerfully charged kick.
The Pokémon stumbled backwards as the tiny Rowlet bested all of their moves at once. Wow, gotta hand it to Steven, he is good at thinking. I usually just push my luck.
"Okay Garbordor, combine your power with Salandit and use Sludge Bomb again!" Zipp roared.
"Now Salandit, give it your all and use Dragon Rage!"
Sludge Bomb combined with Dragon Rage flew across the sand towards Steven's Rowlet. One thing I know, it's going to dodge it. Because it just got a not enough sleep.
"Rowlet fly up high!" Steven ordered.
Rowlet flapped hard and went just high enough so anything they throw at it would miss. Now it was another aerial battle.
"A little aerial battle eh? We accept! Zubat! Use Wing Attack!" Rapp commanded.
Zubat flew through the air after Rowlet and its wings slammed into Rowlet to lower its altitude a little.
"Use Razor Leaf and fly all around it!"
Rowlet started to fling razor sharp leaves and then circled Zubat, creating a Storm of Leaves. Rowlet can't learn Leaf Storm but this was close enough.
"Use Tackle from behind!" Steven shot.
Rowlet kicked Zubat in the back hard and like an aero plane went wrong, it spiraled into Salandit and took them both out. Now it was only Garbordor to deal with and by the looks of it, Rowlet won't stand a chance.
"Okay Rowlet! Let's go! We got rid of two and now it's one on one!" Steven said, "We can win this!"
"ROO!" Rowlet confirmed, flapping up a little.
"Okay now Rowlet use Leafage again!"
Garbordor was tough. Unlike the others, it was thick and strong and covered in trash. And that trash is covered with poison. Making Leafage basically useless against it.
"Garbordor! Now use Poison Gas!" Zipp said.
"Rowlet use Razor Leaf and make the poison go away!" Steven countered.
"WHAT?!" Rapp and Tupp yelled at the same time.
The gas circled Rowlet but it obeyed anyways and made its Razor like leaves make a whirlwind around it. The gas eventually went away but Rowlet had a little doze at that moment and completely forgot what it was doing for three seconds before:
"Use Sludge Bomb!"
BANG!
Rowlet flew to the left and smashed into the ground, flinching slightly.
"Oh no!" Iris screamed.
"ROWLET!" Steven gasped and watched Rowlet struggle to its feet, "You can still go on?"
"ROOOOOO!" It chirped, complete battle mode on now.
"Okay Rowlet! Use Razor Leaf!"
Again and again, Rowlet tried to get through Garbordor's thick defenses (a.k.a the thick gunk that surrounds it which smells like a toilet) but it couldn't get enough power.
"Steven, there is one weakness to Garbordor, and that is to take it off balance," I whispered to him.
"Got it," he nodded.
Garbordor used Pound and Rowlet flew into a rock. It had its back against the rock and Garbordor's garbage like body acting as a wall infront of it. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
"Right Rowlet you know what to do! Leafage again!"
Rowlet hooted and aimed at Garbordor's feet, making it stumble and fall forwards.
"Now get through his legs!"
As fast as before, Rowlet took off and slipped through the gap of Garbordor's legs, flying up and keeping steady in the air.
"Use PECK! Finish Garbordor!"
Well, that took another turn. Rowlet started a snooze party right there in the air making Garbordor take a chance and knock it down out of the sky using Sludge Bomb (geez is Sludge Bomb a common move?).
"WAKE UP ROWLET WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE!!!!" Steven shouted.
Rowlet shook its head and got up, a confused look on its face. I don't think it noticed getting the teeny tiny detail where the Garbage Pile infront of us knocked it out of the sky using literal poison bombs.
"Rowlet!"
"Roo?"
"Come on! They're gonna shoot you!"
"ROOO!"
Rowlet started to panic, flapping its wings convulsively and bouncing around in circles like God please get me out of this! I only wanna sleep!
"Steven!"
He looked back at Cilan and tapped his Z Ring. Oh boy. Here we go.
"I don't know how!" He said.
"I'll guide you through it don't worry," I nodded.
"Okay."
Steven looked uneasy but his burning passion of battle with Rowlet made his Z Ring glow. I put my arms in an X position and Steven copied. The Z Move started.
The Normalium Z Symbol flew out infront of him and I broke my X, making him copy. I clenched my hands into fists and Steven did too, then I put one arm over my head and the other under my stomach slightly. The circle of doom.
"OKAY ROWLET! AT FULL POWER!" Steven began, transferring his energy to Rowlet, "USE BREAKNECK BLITZ AT GARBORDOR RIGHT ON!"
Rowlet hooted and shot through the air to Garbordor like a missile, charging him with no mercy. First time I ever saw Rowlet fly without falling asleep.
Garbordor gave a startled yell and Rowlet slammed into it, smashing it to the ground. Steven is lucky to have that Rowlet by his side.
"Awesome Rowlet!" He high fived Rowlet, "Yeah!"
"Garbordor!" Zipp shouted helplessly.
"Now you have to answer to my Partner Pokémon," Steven said in that Steely voice again, "METAGROSS GO!"
He threw a ball high and his signature Metagross slammed into the ground, pounding it and glaring at the targets.
"Uh oh," Team Skull whimpered infront of the gigantic figure infront of them and hid behind Tupp.
"Use Flash Cannon!"
And Boom goes the Cannon, Team Skull goes flying.
