伊達の銖壁 = Iron Wall of Date
so. iron wall.
well no shit, its obvious date tech is famous for their iron wall. it can (not literally) mean for one to block things out like a wall for protection. for example, the volleyball is like the pressures and the blocks are like the walls used to protect the players. it can be used as real life scene like how you should not be pressured to do things or be badly influence so use a wall to block it away (the influence) so all in all, iron wall of date = defend yourself from others.
(in my opinion)
i think this motto is very very real to the team since they are already known for their iron wall. they are consistently replacing in their iron wall with new players. like shown in one of the episode ( i forget where ) the third year were confident that their new iron wall was improved and better thanks to koganegawa.
