*Major Cussing Warning + Song Inspired Chapter*
"What the fuck did you just say?" Izuku infuriately berated, his impassive look slowly morphing into one that held a silent death threat of sorts. It had taken him a second, but he had made it go to office of which combed through all the criminals and rejects that fucked with U.A., and picked those that were to be eradicated.
A man with similar colored hair to the receptionist Izuku had talked to earlier was behind the desk he was standing in front of; sporting a military-style buzz cut and a hard glare.
"One, language, please, Midoriya, and two, you heard me. Either Tenya is dead, or you're dead," the man said, his hard glare breaking only slightly from the sly smirk that evilly slithered onto his face.
Midoriya threw his hands up into the air and turned his back to the man behind the desk, having to think for only a second before turning back around.
"Then kill me! You cannot make me kill my friend, even if we haven't been friends for that long! Don't underestimate my suicidal tendencies, sir!" Izuku sassed, staring him dead in the eyes to get his point across. The man merely raised an eyebrow as he sneakily took a peak at Izuku's profile that was sitting on his desk, smiling satisfyingly at what he was able to read.
"Hm...if I can't convince you to kill him by threatening just your life...then what about everyone you care about including you?" The brow he had cocked continued to stay up as he observed Izuku'a every move calculatingly.
The little composure Midoriya had managed to keep as a veil over his face immediately slid off his face and splashed into the ground like a rain puddle. Izuku ever so slightly took a step forward, his pupils dilating as he titled his head to the right in a menacing manner.
"You're going to kill everyone I love and me if I don't kill one person..? What's the logic in that?" he murmured scarily, his huge pupils suddenly turning to slits.
'Like a cat. A very small...and creepy cat,' the elder assassin mused in his head, his tone of voice gaining its own hostile nature as he leaned forward slowly.
"Do you know why we had you kill Sabeline Kozuko, despite the fact that she was a single mother, and despite her kind nature?" Izuku straightened his head as he took another few steps forward out of , clenching his fists so hard that blood spurted from his palms, trickled down his knuckles, and fell onto the ground droplet by droplet.
"Why?!" he vexedly urged, the pain spiking from his hands being the only thing holding him back from completely losing it.
"Because she had ties. In this world full of messy battles, blood, and betrayal, you can't have loose ends; she was most certainly one of them," the man answered, intertwining his hands and resting his chin on them with another smirk.
"The same goes for Tenya Iida. He, of course, was not at fault since his brother was the one that screwed up, but that doesn't mean he's trustworthy."
"He's a teenager! Yes, he's getting close to the age of being a full blown adult, but that doesn't mean he's there yet! Like you said, he hasn't done anything! And so therefore, he shouldn't have to be killed o-" Izuku started to protest, becoming more and more adamant as the seconds went on; but was interrupted by a hand roughly pulling him closer to the owner of said hand.
The maroon haired man looked straight into Izuku's eyes with that smirk growing more wide the longer he looked upon the green-haired male.
"He is Tensei's brother, he was inevitably going to get involved whether he liked it or not if Tensei wasn't careful; and guess what ended up happening? And you know what? You're a close friend of Tenya, right? You said so yourself..." the man explained, the look he was sporting being enough to make Izuku feel like all of the shadows in the room were bending to the man's will and suffocating Izuku.
