Chapter 6: Flashback

I knew the day was almost ending as the colors in the sky started to combine it with the color of the sun. The sun was about to set. Greyson took me to the bench by the sea shore. We sat down beside each other, my head resting on his shoulder as Greyson place his arm around me, pulling me close. I felt so comfortable, I felt so protected. 

"Remember when this all started with a crush?" Greyson said, playing with my fingers.

"Hahaha. Yes. 5 months ago."

"You were so scared to be with me because of what your ex did to you. Every single night, I picture things in my head, wondering what could happen if you and I would be together. And then I finally decided.. "I want this girl to be mine. I'll take care of her, love her, be honest with her, be myself to her."

"Greyson..." Greyson made flashbacks and it just made my heart melt. I didn't know what to say, I'm so blessed to have him.

"Then I came up to you when you were sitting by the tree, writing your diary. You freaked out and your diary dropped. You tried to pick it up as fast as you can.."

I chuckled.

"As fast as you can, but you got caught. Remember what you wrote in there?" He winked.

I chuckled again. "I'm really crushing on Greyson. He's a really good guy and to be real, he's not like my ex. I can trust him." Greyson's voice was deep, cold and husky. It sounded so good. My heart was beating fast and loud, I could even hear it.

"Right! I pretended I didn't see it to keep you away from being emabarassed. When I popped out the question, you said "yes."  He looked at me, brushing the hair out of my face, kissing my forehead for about 5 seconds.

"I did my best because you were the one I wanted the most." Greyson said, making me all blush.

I was there, just hugging Greyson while my head rested on his shoulder, listening to everything he said.  

"I've got sooooo much love for you and it will never run out. No matter how old we get. And I always want you to know that I love you more than you'll ever know."

I kissed Greyson on the cheek. Greyson was the light through my darkness, my directions when I was lost, my solution to my problem. Words couldn't explin how much I love him. He's my everything and I thank God for letting him be with me. 

He secured me with his warm arms. "I love you." I whispered and got really emotional, started to get all teary. He heard my sniff, he pulled away and wiped the tear on my cheek with his thumb. "Baby, I love you too." He whispered back.

Me and Greyson just stayed by the bench, watching the sun set making every moment memorable before the day comes to an end.
