Everyone just talked about what they were gonna do for the day and Patrick slowly pulled me to his room. Calvin jumped in through the window and had on swimming goggles.

"Swimming day," he stated and jumped out.

"I'll take you home so you can change and come back," Patrick told me and got his keys. He drove me home and we went to my room. "Where do you keep your swimsuits?" I pointed to the bottom drawer and he looked through, throwing a cute bikini at me. It was a marble print one and I liked it. I put it on in the bathroom, then put on Patrick's hoodie over it. I came out and we went back. he put on swimming trunks and joined the boys in the water. Lauren Kettering came over and she, Kelianne, and I were making a TikTok for my account when Patrick swam over and spit pool water onto me in a graceful way. We all stared at him, disgusted, and he swam off. We got a perfect one and I posted it just as Kelianne's man came over. She introduced us to Chase Mattson who was her boyfriend and Lauren, Kelianne, and I decided to make another TikTok together. In the end, Jack hugged Lauren around the waist, Chase kissed Kelianne, and Patrick wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek. Of course, when it was posted, everyone commented shipping Patrick and I. Honestly, I even would ship us. Patrick and Calvin decided to make a TikTok together and I went live. I set it on the tripod and read questions while standing.

"'Whose hoodie-'" I stopped reading since I didn't want to answer that. "'Where are you?' Hype House."

"Are you getting in the water?" Tayler asked.

"In a bit. Here, entertain the live." I took the hoodie off and set it aside. Tayler was twerking and had me throw it back. He tried and failed. Patrick and Calvin jumped over the top railing and splashed water onto us. I stared at them with my jaw open.

"'Dance.' Okay," Tayler read and pulled me back so the live could see us from head to toe. We were standing on the edge of the pool and were trying to think of a dance. "Nate, come sing your song." He sang ride and we danced. We squatted and he lowered the tripod. Tony and Ondreaz called him over, so he left me.

"'Watch out. Patrick's behind you.' What? Patrick's over in the corner with Calvin. They're swimming in circles," I said.

"What?" Calvin asked.

"Nothing." Patrick swam to me and stood up in the pool, wrapping his arms around my waist. He suddenly pulled me in and I fell on top of him. We came out of the water and I flipped my hair, slapping him in the face with it. Chase handed me my phone since he needed the tripod and I set it on the edge of the pool. Patrick moaned loudly and I stared at him.

"What?" He asked seriously and I gave him a I'm-concerned-for-your-mental-health look. He laughed and kissed my cheek.

"I'm cold," I stated and read the comments.

"Come here," Patrick said and I stood straight, not moving. He came over and hugged me tightly, warming me up. "I'm horny," he said and I hoped the live hadn't heard. My jaw dropped and I looked at him then back at the live.

"Gross. I'm getting off. I need to ge home," I said, ending the live.

"I don't want you to go."

"Can I have my best friend back?" Calvin asked from the other side of the pool.

"Yeah. Bryce, I need a ride home," I got out and dried myself. Bryce gave me his hoodie and Patrick watched. He made eye contact with me and went to Calvin. Bryce took me home and I took a shower as he waited on the bed. I gave him the hoodie back and brushed my hair.

"Are you dating Patrick?" Bryce asked.

"No. Why?" I asked.

"Because I'm fine if you are. Have you dated anyone since we broke up?"

"No. Because I've been afraid. I don't wanna make you upset and then just ruin our friendship."

"No! It's fine. It's literally your choice and I'll support you. And if you ever need anything I'm here for you. If anyone treats you badly, I'll beat them up." I smiled and lied down next to him.

"Braddison should get back together..." I stated.

"Cordy! Oh, my God!" Bryce laughed and put his arm around me. He went live and showed me as we lied down. "'Are you two dating?' No. We broke up long ago." We were live for about half an hour and he ended. Patrick walked into my room and saw Bryce and I cuddling. "I'm gonna go home," Bryce quickly left.

"Hey," I said and stood.

"I don't want you hanging out with your ex," Patrick said.

"What? Patrick, you know you and I aren't dating, right?"

"I know."

"And you know I can be friends with whoever I want?"

"Yes," he sighed, looking down then at me again. He walked over and held my shoulders, sighing again. "I just don't want you to hook up with an ex. I know it's all your choice and I even feel controlling. But, as an adult, I'm looking out for you. Okay?"

"Okay," I whispered and nodded. He leaned in a little and I pulled away. "We're not dating."

"Yeah, but... Do you like me? Yes or no?"

"Yeah. Obviously."

"Then what's wrong with it?"

"I don't know, okay?" I collapsed onto the bed and lied down on my stomach. Patrick sat next to me and I rolled onto my back. He poked my stomach and I squirmed. He smiled and poked my side making me twitch. I smiled, but it faded after I remembered what he said. He stopped and set a hand on my thigh.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing," I quickly stood and pushed his hand off my leg. I looked at myself in the mirror and he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Patrick." He let go of me and looked at me in the mirror. "I-I think you should go hang out with Calvin."

"Is this your way of telling me to get out?"

"No. I just think you should spend your time with people you like being around."

"And you think I don't like being around you?" Patrick asked.
