"Goodbye sweetie, We will miss you". My mama shouted as I loaded my suitcase into the Uber. I ran over to say goodbye and noticed she was crying. "No mama! Don't cry!" I said hugging her. "We will miss you Esme." "I know mama but this is for the best" I slowly walked over to my Uber and got in the back. I put in my AirPods and listened to my playlist. I was finally ready to get my life back on track. No more drinking and partying every night, but I mean some nights can be an exception. No more drugs and gang shit, no more one night stands and fuck buddies. I have a clean slate and I'm not gonna waste it this time. I will not be known as the fuck up. At least not for now anyway.
I walked of the plane dragging my suitcase and rubbing my eyes because I fell asleep. I looked around and saw my uncle with a smile on his face. "Ah Renesme, how have you been?" He asked hugging me. "I've been good, but the question is, how are you and Ava." Ava is my uncles pregnant fiancée. When I met her, she was welcoming to me and treated me like I was her daughter. She's a lovely lady and I couldn't wait to see her again. "Heavily pregnant" he said making us both laugh. "Let's take these to the car then" he said grabbing one of my suitcases. "Oh no, which car did you bring?" My uncle was the youngest person in my family to even get partially rich and he likes to buy very expensive things and show them off. "Just the Mercedes Benz, I knew you wouldn't want anything flashy" he said unlocking the car. "Ava can't wait to see you." "igualmente" (likewise) (oh did I forget to mention your family is spanish? Must've slipped my mind)
When we pulled up outside, I wasn't surprised at his house because I had been there twice before but it still mesmerised me. I grabbed two of my suitcases whilst my uncle grabbed the other one. " agh Diego your back. And I see you bought a guest" she said hugging me. "Hello Ava" "Hello stranger" she said back at me giggling a little. I hadn't been here in a very long time now that I think about it. "Let's get you unpacked then" my uncle said grabbing two of my suitcases and taking them up the stairs. "So esme, this is your room and mine and avas is across the hall if you want anything." He said putting my suitcases down. "Mine?" I said in awe. He nodded and walked out shutting the door. I looked around the room amazed this was mine.

My room at home was simple and had Pinterest photos printed and stuck on my wall, with led lights and a plain ass bed so this was luxury to me. I started unpacking my clothes listening to my music, but not too loud incase I disturbed someone in the house. I didn't want to be a nuisance or anything on my first day.
2 hours later my uncle came and grabbed me for dinner and we all sat at a perfectly glass table. "So Ava, when's the due date?" I asked wanting to start conversation. "Oh it's around the start of November." "Oh that's cool" I said not knowing what else to say. "So Esme, what are you planning on doing with school and education?" My uncle asked. "Well I'm 19 so I'm gonna be transferring to the LA college maybe. Not too sure." I said after chewing a mouthful of pasta. Soon everyone had finishes eating and I went back up to my room to shower. I was tired so I was thinking about watching YouTube and going to bed afterwards.
I got in the shower, locking the bathroom door and put on my playlist and started singing in the shower.
When I got out the shower, I changed into my freshly unpacked silk pajamas and laid down in bed, putting my AirPods in. I laid down under the covers and opened youtube. I decided on watching Larray because 1.he is an icon and 2. I love everything about him with my whole heart. Soon after, I fell asleep and dreamed about being in the first place music video in a stitch onesie.
