6|| In which everything goes wrong

CHAPTER 6

-Kenna's POV-

When the others returned Derek told us about his plan for the next day about how he wanted this kid called Jackson to test for possibly being a Kanima and from what I've heard, the guy sounds like a dick. After the discussion we all went to go sleep but Derek held me back and began explaining how he had enrolled me into the school with the others. Finally heading to sleep I changed into shorts and a shirt before blowing out my candles and falling into a deep sleep.

(Time Skip to the morning)

Waking up I changed into a black top and denim shorts, brushing my hair and doing my makeup with winged eyeliner and Smokey eyes, I pulled out dark red lipstick and coloured my lips with it as I slid on my leather gloves. Walking outside I saw the others had already gathered and Erica had left to get Jackson, as I approached the group Ryuu looked up and held out a bacon and egg burger for me.

"About time you woke up" Derek said stretching from the corner.

"Oh shut it Derek" I rolled my eyes as I began eating the burger.

Erica came back dragging a boy in who I assumed was Jackson, causing Isaac to move forward and help hold him back.

"What happened to you on the night of the full moon?" Derek asked calmly as he was sitting.

"What? Nothing, Nothing happened" Jackson panted as he was trying to break out of Erica and Isaac's grip.

"You're lying" Derek said as he looked up putting gloves onto his hands.

"No Wait! I can-I can prove it" he pleaded before sighing, "I taped myself."

'I wonder how often does he like to tape himself'

This caused Derek and I to grin as Isaac laughed.

"You taped yourself?" Isaac said smirking.

"Yes, it was the full moon and maybe while you were curled up in the corner having an existential crisis about turning into a monster, I was preparing for the so called gift your big-bad alpha promised me and what do I get? Nothing." Jackson panted out before speaking again.

"You want proof? let me get the video" he said skittishly.

Derek looked at him for a while before shaking his head and putting on a pair of gloves.

"No" he paused as he picked up a shard from a mirror, "No, I have a better idea."

"What is that?" Jackson said shaking, Derek stood up as Erica and Isaac pulled Jackson down onto his knees.

"You know Jackson you've always been kind of a snake....and everyone knows a snake can't be poisoned by its own venom" the Derek spoke as he walked forward tilting the shard into his mouth.

Watching from my area, the venom appeared to be paralyzing him, the others stepped back watching the paralysis that was caused due to the venom, sighing Derek knelt down near Jackson.
