Chapter 13 - The Withdrawal

Objective: Steal Cash from Bank Vault

Location: SFBank, San Francisco, CA

I layed low. I never left the Place Ryan Left me at, And I certainly didn't want Halcyon to locate me. But the suspense of Whether Rachael was alright killed me. Internally. I needed to know.

'Beep' The Phone Vibrated. I picked up. Jackdaw was on the other end.

"Where is She?" I asked.

"Listen Kid, Now's not the time. I got a job for you. Meet me at this Location. Sending you coordinates now."

I put down the call, And recieved the coordinates Jackdaw sent within the next few mins. I immediately left And went to the location. No point in wasting time.

It was a Cabin. Somewhere In the wilderness. It was a quiet spot. Jackdaw was Waiting On the porch. He greeted me, And brought me in.

Inside was a Main room, Where A huge Board was put up, with Pins everywhere, and news articles relating to Halcyon.

"Welcome ta the team, Handsome." Someone said.

I turned. A girl sitting on a nearby Pouffe eating a donut Looked at me. She had blue hair, Wore a Blue vest and had denim shorts on.

"Sofia Pearl, Pleasure to meet you!" She greeted me and smiled, Extending a Hand out. I looked at Jackdaw.

"It's alright, She works for me." He said.

"Summers. Finn Summers." I replied, shaking her hand.

"Nice name. You can call me Sparrow!" She said with enthusiasm.

"Zero." I replied.

"Sofia is about a few years younger than you, But she is, Nonetheless, A great agent. She's your Evac for the next mission." Jackdaw said.

"What's the mission?" I asked.

He Pulls Out a picture. It was a picture of SFBank, The very same bank I robbed The jewels from back when I was in Halcyon.

"Our target." He taps the Photo.

Sofia Pitched in. "You wanna make Halcyon mad? We take their money, And we get outta there with it. Halcyon will be fuming, Throwing their paperwork around When they find out." She giggles.

"Yea. Halcyon's Money Laundering bank. How much we getting out from there?"

"We wanna Make Halcyon Fuming right?" Sofia Asks.

"I say We grab all their Cash." She says.

Jackdaw Nods. "She's right. We need Halcyon Mad enough to Make a mistake. My inside source Will give us any Good Intel On what their working in if they let it slip out of their mouths."

Right. Another bank heist. I could do this.

"Ok. Any equipment I could use?" I asked.

Jackdaw and Sofia Reveals A hidden wall. Guns, vests and ammunition Were all up on the wall for my selection. Gadgets Even, To Make my job easier.

I loaded up. I took 2 Ravens, Attached Silencers to them, and put on a Holo Scope. I grabbed a bag, a tactical one. Not the one I used in Halcyon. I loaded the bag with med kits, A blowtorch, a Advanced Keycard Scrambler, Lockpicks and some Breach charges. I suited up, and was ready to get to work.

Sofia Dropped me off at the bank. Jackdaw came On the intercom.

"Welcome to California. Let's get to work."

I charged straight in, Unloading a couple of clips, holding a teller hostage and getting the teller to Bring me into the vault. There, I knocked her out And secured The bags For the cash.

Jackdaw was Looking through my body cam.

"That's Half of them, Keep it up."

I went out and placed the bag, And took another one. I loaded it with cash, And Brought it out to the lobby.

Just as I was assembling a metal cage to Load the bags In, Jackdaw Comes in.

"SFPD is on the way. All of them."

"Good. Let them come." I replied.

I loaded all the bags Into the assembled Metal Cage.

"That's All the bags. Sparrow, Where are you?"

"Oh, I stopped for donuts." She Giggles in her reply.

"SPARROW." Jackdaw sternly said.

"Relax, Im on my way." She replied.

Sirens could be heard Coming from every direction. I had to fight off the cops. A few Minutes into a gunfight with the cops And I could t handle the heat. I needed the evac.

"Sparrow, He needs that evac." Jackdaw informs her, Knowing I'm running out of ammunition to fight off the cops.

"Three minutes out. Tell him not to die, That would be inconvenient." She said.

"Doing my best here." I replied sarcastically.

Another fifteen minutes Trying to hold off the cops alone. I really needed an Evac. I was not gonna Last.

"Sparrow, I need you here now!" I yelled.

"Aw, You're important to me too." She said.

"SPARROW!" I yelled. I could hear her giggling. Speak of the devil, She was already here.

"I hear you needed an airlift? Let's go!" She instructs. She lowers down a rope for me to bind the metal cage with the Heli.

"Jump on the cage, We gotta go!" Sparrow says.

I jumped on. And threw a C4 Tied with a Breach charge down.

"Adios, Suckers."

'BOOM'

The charge went off.

"Heck of a blast. Rose is missing out." Jackdaw says.

Rachael. That's right, I needed to know where Rachael was.

Sofia Dropped me Off back at the cabin, And we celebrated a victory with donuts. Luckily, She was willing to share. Jackdaw came over the intercom.

"I'll be back soon. Try not to cause trouble you two." He says.

We both laughed it off. I took some time to explore the house while waiting for Jackdaw to return.

I needed answers.
