Chapter 2 the aftermath

Sunny woke up feeling refreshed, but soon remembered yesterday's events and started to feel bad again. She had to think of a way to apologize, yes she had feelings for him but she is to scared to tell him so she made him feel like trash. She felt so bad about it, it was just a stupid dare.

Sunny left her hut she had to apologize to Starflight before they left for the school. It would be so much easier if she did. She walked up to her friends "hey guys have you seen Starflight" sunny asked casually "Why so you can hurt him again" tsunami barked.
Glory hit tsunami with her tail "he left early, he said he wanted to get the library Set up correctly" glory told her "oh and clay left befor Starflight, he only left a note saying he would meet us there sometime tomorrow"glory added. "Ooh ok... I'm going to start packing"sunny responded. After a few hours they left for jade mountain. It has been 2 days since the last time they have been thair. The gave the students a 2 day break because of past events after every 5 days.

After they got there sunny went strait to straight in the library to say sorry. As soon as she got there she saw Starflight talking to fatespeaker. I could not hear what they were saying but she saw fateSpeaker give Starflight a kiss on the cheek and Starflight smile a bit. As soon as fatespeaker left sunny walked in.

"Hello" Starflight asked as he herd foot steps
"Hey" I responded slowly,I herd him mumble 'oh no' Under his breath and I cringe. "I wanted to say sorry Star,... I-I... I just felt embarrassed and scared but that gave me no right to say what I said" I say slowly and sadly. "You felt embarrassed and scared. How?" Starflight spat out. "I-I...I don't know how to explain it...it's just that...um...I...I-I have feelings for you...and I just got...Nervous and scared...all my seance just went out the window and... I hurt you for no reason and I wanted to say sorry" sunny stutters. "You have feelings for me?" Starflight mentions. "I...I-I...yes...I do" sunny answers. "Sunny I-i—" he answers but was cut off. "I know" sunny interrupted. "I was just not ready or a relationship so I told you no and now I feel bad about it" sunny told him "sunny I—"
He tryed again but was interrupted by the class gong. " well I have to go now Star... I just hope you can forgive me"she leans over and kisses him on the cheek and leaves for class leaving Starflight speechless.

POV-clay

"I can't find her" he said to no one in particular as he flew around. Clay has been looking for peril since 12 last night and it's nearly 11:00 in the afternoon. After they played truth or dare yesterday he decided to ask her out but first he needed to find her. He was starting to get hungry he has not eaten anything all day. He was about to stop whet he saw her. "Hey" he yelled from a distance clay was growing tired from flying all day almost a full 12 hours. As soon as he got to her his wings gave out and he just landed on his side and slid the rest of the way there.(no more than 6ft but he was going fast) "hey" clay said as he was pretty much under her. "Are you alright that looked like it hurt"Peril said looking concerned. "It did but I'll be alright I have been looking for you sense like midnight" clay told her "why would you do that did you eat or take any breaks." She asked. "No I did not have time and if I did I could have missed you" clay responded with a smile "ok want to go get something to eat you look starving"peril asked him already knowing the answer. " yeah I would love to!"clay responded. "I thought so. So why were you looking for me any way." Peril said this a uplifting way. "I will tell you after we eat" clay said nervously " ok well let's get something to eat then" peril said. After a few minutes they spot some cows and sheep in a open field. They catch 5 cows and 3 sheep peril ate 3 cows because she can not touch the sheep with out it exploding and clay ate the rest. Peril was eating her last cow when she asked him "so why did you need me" clay finishing up a sheep "well...um...I-I wanted... hold on let me restart... peril I wanted to ask you will you be my girl friend... you make me so happy to be with and I always want to be with you..." clay said nervously. Peril had this unreliable face but it soon grew into a huge smile. "OF CORCE!!!!!" She yelled "I would love to clay you make me so happy and i was hoping this would happen" she leaned in and kissed him but as she pulls away clay grabs her and kisses her back, the stay that way for a few minutes and stop for some air. "Wait clay what will your friends think they don't like me remember" peril did concerned "they will be fine nothing they say will make me not love you" clay told her "will you come back to the school with me in the morning" clay asked hopefully. "I would love to... but why in the morning it's only a few hours away and we could make it before dark" peril asked confused. "I kinda wanted to watch the stars with you I know it's dark in a few hours but won't it be fun just you and me and the stars" clay asked her. "You know what clay... that is a great idea I would love that". Peril said truthfully, they sit like that and talk for hours and hours until it turns dark. The lay on the grass hugging looking at the stars until they fell asleep. They woke up in the morning and made there way to the school

"Hey clay your back!...with her..." tsunami said as clay and peril walked in. Peril was already nervous but tsunami did not help,
"Hey you have a problem with her" clay said threateningly. This is one of the only times she has seen clay mad. And she saw him fight an ice wing to the death. Tsunami backed up a little bit and said " she has killed dragons...and she betrayed us" tsunami argued. "That is when she was still brainwashed by scarlet and you killed dragons I don't see people pointing it out glory killed dragons and I don't see people hurting her for it!" Clay said. "We had no choice"tsunami agued back. "Neither did she!" clay yelled back and there was silence among the school. "Let's go peril" clay said as he took her to his room

The others were right behind tsunami in the feeding cave. They were all shocked speechless they have never seen clay so mad. He had a point tsunami and glory both killed before and they had not been hurt for it like peril. She did not have a choice ether, "did that just happen" said Starflight still in shock. "Yeah" said glory "I wonder what happened for him to be so mad. He never gets mad"glory added. "Im going to go find out"said sunny

Sunny went to clays room to find him and peril talking. "Hey clay hey peril how are you guys"
Sunny asked them. "I'm good now" said peril "same" said clay "ok good"sunny Finished "what happened clay I have never seen you so mad before it was kinda scary" sunny asked slowly. "Sorry I'm just tired of other dragons hurting peril for something that was not in her control. It's the main reason I left to ask her out instead of waiting for her to come to the school for me to ask her" clay said "Wait you and peril are a thing!" Sunny said excitedly "yeah I was excited when he asked me!"peril said showing the same energy. "I could hug you but I like my scales" sunny joked "air hug" peril joked "clay I'm so proud of you, I will leave y'all be then" sunny said excited. "Bye sunny" both clay and peril said.

Sunny walked back to her friends in the feeding cave all happy and excited.
"Why are you so happy what happened" glory asked the sandWing hybrid. "Well if you would like to know clay and peril are now a thing" sunny exclaimed. "What!"tsunami said angrily "I don't like her at all"tsunami finished "I don't Ike her ether but it's not up to us" glory reasons "I'm going to go ask fatespeaker to read me a scroll" Starflight said, sunny looked a bit hurt but hid it well "ok well I'm going to go teach my class"tsunami and sunny said. "If y'all need me I will be around the school for a little longer" glory told her friends

POV nobody

"I don't like art" winter told the others. "You don't like any thing winter"said kinkajou
"That is not true" winter defended. Winter had a huge crush on moon and he was finaly going to tell her tonight right under the stars. "I like art" said qubli "and sunny is a nice teacher" moon added "I agree" said kinkajou. (After a few minutes) "ok class you are dismissed and you are free for the rest of the day" the class left excited for the end of the day. After the class left winter went to moon and said "hey could you meet me at the top of jade mountain after dark I want to tell you something" "ookay" moon said slowly. Winter went to the feeding cave because he wanted to eat something before it got dark. This will go one of 2 ways winter thought, one she will like me back or 2 be upset and not want to be his friend any more. He was very nervous. Winter left early to wait for dark. After a few hours he started to worry. He wondered if she would show up and he was Scared if what she would say. After a wile he saw her flying towards him. "Hey moon" he said nervously "what did you need me for" she asked curiously. "Ok moon I...I-I... I like you moon and wanted to ask you if you would go out with me.
