Chapter 9 clays search

Clay and sunny had agreed to look for peril separately clay was going to the mud kingdom in search for peril. Wile sunny want to the kingdom of the sand. "It should only take me a few hours to get to the mud kingdom" clay said to him self "I hope that she is there and that I am able to find her" clay. Clay spotted a few cows and decided to land "I guess a few cows would not hurt anybody". Clay proceeded to eat the cows until there were nothing but bones!"I was starving I have not eaten to day so I needed that" clay told him self. Clay made his way back up in the sky in search for peril. Clay has been flying in the direction of the kingdom of the mud for about a few hours with only a few stops to catch his breath and use the restroom. Clay got to the mud kingdom as it was getting dark. " I guess I can look for her in the morning I just hope she is here" clay said to him self. Clay set up a makeshift bed near the kingdom so he would not be uncomfortable and he went to sleep. "He peril" clay said to the burning skywing "what do you want clay" she told him impatiently "peril can you please come back... peril I need you and... I love you" clay told her "NO...clay you don't and I never loved you...your fat, dumb, and you have a stupid limp that makes you look weak, Clay no one will love you." Peril told him peril the started to fly away and that is when clay bolted awake. "Clay it's just a dream no need to get so worked up" he told himself "it looks to be noon. I should start looking for her" clay started flying all over the mud kingdom with no hope of finding her "ok I need a plan what would sunny do" he thought for a minute. "Ok well peril does not like mud and would just turn it to dirt so I can eliminate the sleeping place and the egg hatchery and any ware with a mud puddle" he thought "I could ask the locals if they had seen her. That might work" he thought out loud "but I could look for scorch marks on the ground first... yeah I will do that first" he finished clay looked on the ground near the less moist spots on the mud kingdom looking for burn marks on the ground. It was past noon and not a single burn or scorch mark that could be her. "Well wile I have a few more hours to search I might ask the other mud wings" clay walked into the mud kingdom and went to the least busy mud wing he could find "excuses me have you seen a sky wing around" clay asked the stranger "no I have not but I can let you know if I do" the young looking mud wing said "ok thank you" he told him. Clay went and asked a few more mud wings if they had seen any thing, but they all had the same answer. Clay went to get something to eat because he haven't eaten all day and he went to sleep shortly after because it was almost midnight. Tomorrow was his last day of search and then he had to leave to go to the meeting space. In the morning clay looked around the last few places and then flew off in hopes that sunny had better luck

Short chapter I know but I did not want to combine clays and sunny'a chapter.
