Sunday, Jimin is done at the night club around 5:30 a.m. He knows that Jiae is probably sleeping safely in Mrs. Yeun's apartment so he decides to go for a walk around the city.
He hasn't gotten a chance to before, so he figures it is time to get to know other streets than the one he walks upon every day.
He digs his hands down deep in the pockets of his hoodie and starts walking in no specific direction.
After about an hour of wandering around, he stops. A row of windows to a basement has catched his eye and he squats down next to one of them. Inside, he sees a dark empty room, but what catches his attention is all the mirrors.
He strainghtens himself and searches for a sign.
"Dance Studio for a Flow of Creativity"
Jimin pulls on the door handle and is surprised when it glides open.
He just stands there for a while, gazing into the dark corridor, wondering if he should continue.
The sound of faint music starting in the distance is what draws him to take the few steps inside, closing the door behind him.
He flinches as the lights in the corridor turns on and stills for a few seconds.
He slowly starts walking further until he reaches the door to, what he believes, the empty practice room he saw from outside.
He carefully presses the door handle down and opens the door, walking inside the room.
He gently closes the door behind him and walks to the middle of the room, looking around.
His gaze lands on himself in one of the mirrors, and he walks over until he is standing directly in front of the mirror.
Putting a hand against the glass, he feels courage fill his body.
He closes his eyes and in one swift motion he does a ballet leap backwards, sticking the landing and continues to mix different steps to build a beautiful blend of ballet and contemporary. He dances slow and fast, feeling his heart follow.
He dances to his own beat. His body following the pulse of his passion.
He continues until his lungs are screaming and his legs give in. He falls to the ground, breathing heavily.
Something in him feels healed. Like a little piece of his soul has came back to him, now only missing the rest.
He slowly comes back to reality and the faint music grabs his attention again. If there is someone else here at this hour, the person must know how this studio works.
Maybe Jimin could start dancing again...
He quickly shakes the thought away, knowing that he shouldn't get his hopes up. He won't be able to come here regularly. That would be cruel to Jiae and Mrs. Yeun.
But, too curious for his own good, Jimin quietly exits the room and walks down the hallway.
He sees light coming from under the next door and can hear the music getting louder.
