Wednesday night, Jimin is back at work.

He has just danced on the stage when he sees his favourite bartender, quickly making his way over.

"Namjoon hyung!"

Namjoon looks up, a smile on his face as he sees Jimin sitting at the bar.

"Hey, Jimin! I heard you know one of my best friends, what a small world, right?"
Namjoon says and Jimin bites down hard on his lip.

"Have you... did you tell him anything about- ...this?"
Jimin asks, heart thumping in his chest.

Namjoon looks confused for a moment, before realizing what Jimin is implying.

"Oh, no, I didn't. I thought he knew, considering he knew that you work here."

Jimin feels relief wash over him and Namjoon notices, cocking an eyebrow.

"Are you that scared of people knowing what you work as?"
The taller asks and Jimin looks at him in disbelief.

"I sell my body to strangers. It's not something to be that proud of, hyung."
Jimin says, and Namjoon hums.

"Then why do you do it?"

"Because I need money, and this was the only option."
Jimin says, and Namjoon looks at him with squinted eyes.

"Okay. But if you feel like you can't tell your friends about something that you are doing, you probably shouldn't be doing it."
Namjoon says and Jimin just sighs, already knowing that.

"But you do you, Jiminie."

Jimin narrows his eyes at Namjoon and the older laughs.

"Don't get defensive on me now. I'm not judging. Never have, never will. I'm just keeping it real with you, Min."

Jimin puffs out a breath, letting go of the sour energy he let in at Namjoon's previous words. He knows that the bartender didn't mean it in a judging way.

"But Hobi wants to come here, you know."
Namjoon hums, making a fancy looking cocktail.

"I know. Can you get him not to?"

Namjoon looks up to meet Jimin's pleading eyes.

"I don't know, Jimin. I'm not big on lying, but I'll try."

Jimin nods, an uneasy feeling in his chest at the thought of his friend seeing him like this.

"Thank you, hyung. I'll see you on friday."

Namjoon sends him a quick wink midst handing out a few drinks to a group of young men by the bar.

With that, Jimin slides off the barstool to continue working.

There are particularly good songs playing in the club tonight and Jimin just wants to dance the night away. He wants to be in normal, pretty clothes and he wants this to be a normal, spontanious night out with friends. He wants to be able to move his body to the music without being viewed as an object that is there to take advantage of.
