Time continued taking its toll and Ash and Gary grew older. The pair, living with each other, were practically brothers. And why wouldn't they be. Gary Oak was the blessed companion of the Lord. He was meant to play a major role in his life. And he will be the first human, to know the truth about the supreme lord himself.

Even being in the body of just a toddler, Ash held something which Delia and others couldn't define. He was special. And that was an understatement. But for what reason, no one knew. Ash started walking when he was juts six months old. His first word, 'mum', was spoken when he was just an year old. And that was not normal. Ash never cried. He never needed to. The only time Delia heard his cries were between the time period of his birth and till he was three months older. After that Ash didn't cry. Not even when he got hurt. He was a strong child. And also smart one.

It was a bright sunny morning, when Ash and Gary were playing in the ranch near the lab. Suddenly a huge Pokemon arrived there, searching for someone. As the Pokemon found what he was searching he gave a roar.
Gary and Ash, who were playing with sand, looked up to see a huge gyarados standing there. Gary screamed loudly out of fear and stumbled backwards. Ash chuckled lightly and took a step forward towards the Pokemon.

"My lord!" The Pokemon greeted and Ash just giggled. His baby laugh cheering the whole environment. He moved to the Pokemon who bowed infront of the baby. Gary saw all this but was way too shocked to say anything.

Delia and Leaf came running hearing the screams and roars. But what they saw shocked them. Ash was sitting on the head of the huge Pokemon. While laughing excitedly for sitting at such height.

The colour from Delia's face drowned as dread settled in her stomach. Her heart beat became fast as she looked at the scene in fear. And within seconds the strong mother came forward.

"Ash, come down dear. That Pokemon is very ferocious. It's a gyarados. They don't get along easily. Please get down." Delia said politely. Her voic wavering a bit, which Leaf was sure a difficult job for her. Leaf stumbled a bit a weight shot towards her hugging her legs. Leaf looked down to see Gary. She bent down and picked him, hugging him as her life depended on him.

She looked at Delia who looking at Ash begging him to come down.

"Mum.. mum mumma.. mumm." Ash shouted giggling and laughing, without any care of the world. Leaf frowned while Delia panicked.

"Ash, please come down honey." Delia pleaded again. Her voice finally giving her feelings as she choked on her own voice. The gyarados looked at the pair of humans infront of him with curiosity. What was going on? He thought to himself.

"Ash! Dear please listen to your mom. Come down. See, she is so terrified. Please come down for her." Leaf said, looking at the child who was now sitting on the head of one of the ferocious Pokemons of the world. The baby looked at her mother as she was mentioned only to find her on verge of crying. Ash moved his head to his side, confusion written all over his face. He tapped on the crown of gyarados and the Pokemon understood.
The giant serpant-like Pokemon bent down, bowing infront of Delia, leaving Ash in her arms reach. Delia, as swift as she could be, picked Ash up and took hew steps back before thanking the gyarados.

The gyarados once again bowed to the lord and left the place.

"Thank Arceus, you are fine Ash." Delia said, her voice filled with relief, as she hugged him with all her might.
Ash just giggled in response.

"Is it fun for you to scare your mother?" Delia asked with with mock scolding look.
Ash stopped giggling and looked at her and then shook his head in a no.
Delia was at awe at her child.
"Ohh ash! I love you. You are the cutest child on this whole planet." Delia said hugging him while Ash again did his child laugh.
